CELTIC will go into the Champions League play-off draw at 11am in Nyon, Switzerland, today to see who they play in the final hurdle – if they overcome AEK Athens.

As Brendan Rodgers prepares his team for Wednesday’s first leg against the Greek title-holders at Parkhead, he will learn of his possible opponents for the final hurdle before the group stages.

The ties for the play-offs are August 21 and 22 with the return games a week later on 28 and 29.

Celtic’s second leg against AEK will be a week tomorrow at the Olympic Stadium in Athens.

With such a tight schedule, UEFA have to make the draws in advance with Young Boys of Berne and PSV Eindhoven the only teams assured of a place in the play-off’s.

Salzburg and Macedonian outfit Shkendija are also in the seeded pot alongside the Hoops.

One team the seven-in-a-row champions will not meet is Astana. After meeting the Kazak outfit in the past two years, they will also be seeded alongside Jozo Simunovic’s former side Dinamo Zagreb.

Astana kocked out Erik Sviatchenko’s Midtylland 2-1 on aggregate last night.

In the unseeded pot are Qarabag/BATE, Young Boys, Malmo/Videoton and Red Star Belgrade/Spartak Trnava.
