CELTIC IN SAINTS SWITCH

CELTIC’S final game of the season at Parkhead a week tomorrow has been brought forward to a 6.30pm kick-off.

The match against St Johnstone, who drew 1-1 at the venue in November, has been switched from its original 7.45pm start at the request of both clubs, according to the Daily Record.

The Hoops will bring down the curtain on a disappointing campaign, the first trophyless term in 11 years, with a match against Hibs at Easter Road three days later.

That is scheduled for skipper Scott Brown’s finale to the club after winning 22 honours in his 14 year glittering career following his £4.4million move from the Edinburgh club.

The fans, of course, will take the opportunity before the Saints visit to pay a tribute to the 35-year-old captain and they have been invited to bring banners, scarves and flags to Celtic Park.
