CELTIC have been linked with World Cup-bound midfielder Benjamin Tahirovica.
The Bosnia & Herzigova star is reportedly on the champions’ wanted list – but any proposed deal will be put on hold until after this summer’s global extravaganza in USA, Canada and Mexico.
Tahirovic also interested the Hoops in January 2025 after he had joined Dutch giants Ajax from AS Roma two years earlier.
However, any thoughts of a move were scuppered when the 23-year-old Sweden-born ace sealed a £2.3million move to Danish club Brondby.

Celtic are now poised to rekindle their interest in the 26 times-capped defensive middle-of-the-park performer, according to local media outlet SportSport.
They state the Hoops are “preparing a strong financial offer” for Tahirovic.
Portuguese side Porto are also said to be monitoring the situation, but the report claims Scotland’s title kings are in the “best position” to sign him.
