CELTIC have agreed a £435,000 loan fee for striker Junior Adamu from Bundesliga outfit SC Freiburg.
There is also a £4.3million option to make the transfer permanent, according to Sky Sports.
The 24-year-old Austrian international frontman was the first to arrive on a hectic deadline day for the champions as they reinforced Martin O’Neill’s first-team squad.
Capped nine times, Adamu promised: “I’m dangerous in the box and hungry for goals.”

The Hoops then confirmed the arrival of Benjamin Arthur on loan from Brentford until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old central defender said: “I am really honoured and happy to be joining Celtic. It is one of the world’s biggest clubs, so it’s a really exciting move for me.”
Joel Mvuka was the last recruit to be unveiled by the Parkhead club on a temporary switch from French club Lorient.
The 22-year-old Norwegian is hoping to hit the ground running after agreeing the deal which has an option to buy and he claimed: “I’m a fast winger, I can play left or right and I’m good with the ball.
“I can’t wait to get started.”
The trio joined Mexico international right-back Julian Araujo and Czech Republic striker Tomas Cvancara who earlier agreed loan switches from Bournemouth and Borussia Monchengladbach respectively.

On a day of comings and goings, Celtic also rejected an improved third offer of £25million for Belgian playmaker Arne Engels from Nottingham Forest.
The Premier club were willing to pay £20million up front with £5million in add-ons, but the Hoops hierarchy rejected the bid for the 22-year-old midfielder who joined from Augsburg for a club record £11million on August deadline day 2024.
Engels still has two-and-a-half years left on his contract with the champions.
Exiting Parkhead on the last day of the winter transfer window were Stephen Welsh, who returned to Motherwell to resume his loan, and Johnny Kenny, who switched to third-tier Bolton Wanderers until the end of the term.
Moving out on a short-term permanent switch was goalkeeper Tobi Oluwayemi who joined Leyton Orient.
