CELTIC Invincible Craig Gordon has retired from playing football at the age of 43.
The goalkeeper, capped 84 times, made his professional debut in 2001 and went on to play over 760 times for the Parkhead club, Hearts, Sunderland, Cowdenbeath and Scotland.
Gordon, a key member of the Hoops squad who went through the treble-winning season of 2016/17 without a solitary defeat, won six Premiership titles, five League Cups and three Scottish Cups after joining as a free agent in July 2014.

Seven years earlier, he signed for Sunderland in a £9million move from Tynecastle, a British record fee for a shotstooper at the time, according to a report on Sky Sports.
He returned to the Edinburgh club when his Hoops contract expired in June 2020.
Gordon’s 25-year playing career was also marred by major injuries. A succession of ankle problems, broken arms and knee surgery saw his time in England come to a halt.
He was out of action for two years and took up coaching as he battled against a career-threatening condition before signing for Celtic.
