CELTIC Invincible Dedryck Boyata is on the look-out for a new club – at the age of 34.

The Belgian international centre-back, who won four Premiership titles at the Hoops, has just been released by Club Brugge.

Boyata had been frozen out by the team who drew 1-1 in the Champions League encounter at Parkhead in November where the player was an invited guest of the hosts.

The stylish defender was signed by Ronny Deila for a bargain £1.5million from Manchester City in the summer of 2015 after failing to make the breakthrough at The Etihad.

PRIZE GUY…Dedryck Boyata with the 2018 Scottish Cup, one of his eight trophies in four years at Celtic.

Boyata eventually settled in the Celtic back four and, as well as four championship medals, he picked up two Scottish Cups and two League Cups.

He played his part in Brendan Rodgers’ debut 2016/17 campaign where the Hoops swept all before them to pick all three domestic trophies while going through the crusade with a phenomenal unbeaten record.

Boyata was rated in the £10million category at one stage, but he eventually left the club at the end of his contract in July 2029 to sign for Hertha Berlin.

He spent three seasons in the Bundesliga before returning to his homeland with Club Brugge, but he was frozen out by the team after a fall-out and is now in search of another team.
