ADAM MONTGOMERY is poised to quit Celtic in his SIXTH loan move.
The 23-year-old left-back made the first-team breakthrough in Ange Postecoglou’s debut season in 2021/22, but has rarely figured since his early impact.
Montgomery has had temporary switches at Aberdeen, St Johnstone, Fleetwood Town, Motherwell and Queen’s Park and is now being lined up for a move to Premiership new boys Livingston, according to a report in the Daily Record.

ON THE MOVE…Adam Montgomery in action against Queen’s Park earlier this month.
The defender has attracted attention in this window from both sides of the border, but it looks as though he is about to opt for a season-long deal at David Martindale’s West Lothian outfit.
Montgomery, who has two years to run on his Hoops contract, has been involved in Brendan Rodgers’ pre-season plans and started the game against his former Hampden colleagues at the City Ground earlier this month when Johnny Kenny claimed the only goal.
Partick Thistle’s former Celtic right-back Mark Wilson is also hoping to raid his old club for a couple of their other top prospects, as CQN reported yesterday.
The one-time Scotland international, who took over the Firhill hot seat in the summer, has been linked with keeper Josh Clarke and midfielder Kyle Ure.
