CELTIC have switched their Premiership match against Hearts to Wednesday March 8 with a 7.45pm kick-off.
The third league meeting of the sides this season was due for Saturday February 25, but, of course, Ange Postecoglou’s side are scheduled to play Michael Beale’s Ibrox outfit in the Viaplay League Cup Final at Hampden 24 hours later.
The champions are already due to play St Mirren in Paisley – venue of their only domestic loss so far in this campaign – on Saturday March 4 with a 3pm start.
The encounter with the Edinburgh outfit will now be played four days later. The Hoops won the first game against Robbie Neilson’s team 2-0 in the east end of Glasgow with goals from Kyogo Furuhashi and Giorgos Giakoumakis on August 21.
The October 22 clash at Tynecastle saw the visitors triumph 4-3 with Greg Taylor getting the winner with his first league goal for the club in an encounter dominated by controversial decisions following the introduction of VAR.
The weekend of March 11/12 has been set aside for Scottish Cup quarter-final ties and the Hoops are then at home to Hibs – hammered 6-1 at the same venue on October 15 – on the 18th.

Celtic players such as Callum McGregor, James Forrest, Anthony Ralston and David Turnbull are likely to be involved in Steve Clarke’s Scotland international squad in the Euro qualifiers at Hampden as the month comes to a close.
The Scots will face Cyprus on Saturday March 25 with a 2pm kick-off and then Spain visit three days later.
April opens with a match against Ross County in Dingwall on the first of the month and then it’s the third Glasgow derby of the campaign a week later at Parkhead.
