CELTIC will have to wait to see who they play in the Scottish Cup third round.
The holders, who won the silverware for a record-breaking fourth successive time only three weeks ago, will face Arbroath or Falkirk at Parkhead on January 30.
The Gayfield outfit and the League One side will play their rearranged tie on Tuesday to see who gets to face Neil Lennon’s men as the road to Hampden kicks off for the big guns The ties will be concluded on the day this season without replays in event of a draw. Extra-time will be played and penalty-kicks will also be utilised if required to discover the winners.
The Parkhead men, of course, needed spot-kicks to lift the trophy last month after being deadlocked 3-3 with stubborn Hearts after the extra 30 minutes period.
Rookie keeper Conor Hazard saved two penalties to give Lennon’s side the Cup to complete the phenomenal quadruple treble.
Earlier in the glory sequence, the Hoops had beaten Aberdeen 2-1 in 2017, Motherwell 2-0 a year later and then the Tynecastle club 2-1 on May 25 2019 to collect the hat-trick.
