CELTIC LINKED WITH NEW JAPANESE ACE

ANGE POSTECOGLOU has been linked with a THIRD Japanese star as the Celtic boss prepares to raid the J-League in the transfer window.

Kyogo Furihashi has proved to be a sensation since his £4.6million arrival from Vessel Kobe in July and he claimed his 14th goal in 21 starts with the winner against Hearts on Thursday.

Fellow-striker Daizen Maeda, a player who was signed by Postecoglou for Yokohama F Marinos in February, and left-sided defender Reo Hatate, who is out of contract with Kawasaki Frontale at the end of next month, have also been mentioned with a switch to Glasgow.

Now Gamba Osaka’s Yosuke Ideguchi has joined the Greek-Australian’s shopping list, according to local media outlet Hochi.

The 25-year-old central midfielder has already sampled football in the UK after a spell with Leeds United four years ago although he never made a first-team competitive appearance.

Ideguchi played 29 games for Osaka during the league season which has now been completed. making it an ideal time to get business done.
