CELTIC have been linked with Spanish striker Michu, who has been frozen out at Swansea City.
The 29-year-old forward is in limbo following last season’s flop loan spell at Napoli where he failed to score a goal in five appearances.
Michu netted 28 goals in 67 games for the Premier League outfit after being brought to the club by Michael Laudrup in a bargain £2million deal from Rayo Vallencano in 2012.
However, he has failed to impress Laudrup’s successor Garry Monk who is keen to move the player on from the Liberty Stadium.
As well as the SPFL champions, Michu has been linked with a host of Spanish clubs as he searches for a new club with the season already underway.
He is still under contract at the Welsh club until January 2017.
