CELTIC’S forgotten man Kwon Hyeok-kyu is poised to join Nantes.
The South Korean midfielder has yet to kick a ball in competitive action for the Hoops following his arrival in June 2023 from Busan IPark.
Kwon has had loan stints at St Mirren and Hibs and is now on the brink of a permanent move to the Ligue 1 outfit at the knockdown price of £250,000.
Austria Vienna have also been linked with the 24-year-old anchorman, but the versatile performer is on the brink of agreeing a three-year deal at Nantes, according to media outlet Ouest-France.

SHOVE OFF…Kwon Hyeok-kyu, during his loan stint at St Mirren, is tackled by former Ibrox midfielder Todd Cantwell in a tussle in Paisley.
Kwon has three years still to run on his contract at the champions, but the exit clearly beckons for the player who is said to be due to undergo a medical in France today before the deal gets the green light.
Just over a year ago, Kwon’s countryman, striker Oh Hyeon-gyu, moved to Belgium to sign for Genk on a four year contract for an udisclosed fee.
The international forward, who cost £2million when he arrived from K-League outfit Suwon Bluewings, spent just 18 months at Parkhead.
Oh claimed 12 goals for the Hoops, but was a bit-part player for Brendan Rodgers in his comeback season and dropped down the pecking order after the January loan arrival of Adam Idah from Norwich City.
The only solution was a transfer and the Republic of Ireland international frontman joined the champions on a permanent £9.5million switch the following month.
