CELTIC are attempting to reschedule their Premiership clash with Dundee for next midweek – four days before their trip to Ibrox.
If the game against the Tayside outfit gets the go-ahead, it will mean Brendan Rodgers will have first-choice right-back Mikael Lustig available for selection against Sevco Rangers.
The original fixture against the Dens men – where the Swedish defender would have served a one-game ban following his sending-off against Aberdeen – was snowed off yesterday morning.
However, Parkhead chiefs are trying to have the game rescheduled for Wednesday.
If the game doesn’t get the green light, Cristian Gamboa and fit-again Anthony Ralston would be in the frame for the No.2 shirt against Graeme Murty’s side a week on Sunday.
Lustig, 31, has struggled in recent outings, but Rodgers said: “Mika is a great servant for me.
“He has put himself out there. He has struggled for injuries earlier, but since I’ve come in, the game-time he has played has been fantastic.
“And he has to keep going.”
