CELTIC PLANS REVEALED

CELTIC are gearing up for their tilt at ten after travelling south to their training camp in Loughborough.

Neil Lennon’s champions will spend the week at the Leicestershire training hideaway as they utilise the facilities of the world-class Elite Athlete Centre.

The Hoops will then fly out to France for three pre-season warm-up games in six days against Lyon, Nice and old European foes Paris Saint-Germain where Odsonne Edouard will have the opportunity to show his old team what they missed.

The Parkhead side will face former fans’ favourite Moussa Dembele’s Lyon and ex-Arsenal skipper Patrick Vieira’s Nice on July 16 and 18.

They will then round off their trip with a glamour tie against the Parisian giants on the 21st – with old rival Neymar, the £200million Brazilian superstar, in the opposition.

Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox outfit are also set to join them in the eight-club tournament for games against Lyon and Nice. However they will NOT face one another – and there will be no tickets for Scots fans, according to a report in the Scottish Sun.

The clubs are due to meet in the Premiership on Saturday, October 17 in the east end of Glasgow after the fixture list was released yesterday, as CQN reported.

They will face each other again on January 2 in Govan before their third league clash at Parkhead on March 20, the day of the split.
