CELTIC POWER SURGE

CELTIC are continuing to monitor Tranmere Rovers midfielder Max Power who is out of contract at the end of the season.

Burnley, Sheffield Wednesday and Brighton are also showing an interest in the talented 21-year-old who has just rejected the offer of a new deal.

Tranmere could let Power’s contract run down as they will be still entitled to some compensation in the summer due to his age.

The player, who has been with the Wirral club since the age of eight, has caught the eye this season with some impressive performances.

He is the team’s top scorer with 10 goals in 32 appearances, including one against Premier League Swansea City in the FA Cup.
