CELTIC wished Nicolas Kuhn a fond farewell as he sealed his £17.2million switch to Como, as CQN forecast a week ago.
The German winger, who cost £3million from Rapid Vienna 18 months ago, has quit the champions to sign a four-year deal with the Serie A outfit.
Kuhn, 25, netted the first of his 23 Hoops goals in his second outing, the 1-1 draw with Aberdeen at Pittodrie in February last year.
The explosive flanker hit the ground running last term with 21 strikes – including the third goal in the Premier League Sports Final penalty-kick success against Philippe Clement’s Ibrox side at Hampden in mid-December.

ON A WING AND A SLAYER…Nicolas Kuhn celebrates one of his 21 Celtic goals last season.
During his brief period at Parkhead, Kuhn won two Premiership titles, the Scottish Cup and, of course, the League Cup.
A club statement added: “Everyone at Celtic thanks Nicolas for his contribution to the club and we wish him every success in the future.”
The wide player knocked back a return to Germany with RB Leipzig to link up with the Italian side after lengthy chats with the Italian side’s new boss Cesc Fabregas, the Arsenal, Barcelona and Spain legend.
Ironically, one of Kuhn’s first games for Como could be against the Hoops. The Serie A club face Al-Ahli in their own tournament on July 23 before Rogers’ side take on Ajax the following day.
Should both clubs win the German could come face to face with his old team-mates on July 27.
Rodgers has already moved to sign a possible replacement for Kuhn with last week’s £2million capture of Swedish raider Benjamin Nygren from Nordsjælland.
