Celtic should accept Wilson ban offer

1201

Celtic should accept the offer of a two match ban for Kelvin Wilson following an incident at Dens Park on Boxing Day.  He has never been an aggressive player, so there is no need to assume intent, but an elbow to the face is a painful experience and potentially dangerous.  These are the rules and they are there for good reason.

    ……………….

James F whilst not condoning the behaviour of some loon tunes in the Dundee and the Celtic support, I’d like to point out that only 0.5% of the crowd were arrested, it’s a Hun media attempt to paint the Celtic support in a bad light.

Also, in the link you posted the girl said and I totally understand, that she had to keep her wits about her……. Welcome to my world as I feel the same at every CP game, lets not forget that if your in 111 then you know there’s every chance of you being arrested for any trumped up charge available.

I’m sure Celtic will take into consideration the fitness of Mulgrew, Rogne and Ambrose heading off to the African cup of Nations prior to any appeal. Let’s do what’s best for the club.

I’m having some Christmas drinks with an ex rangers supporting relative, we’ve been good pals over many years but lost our way when he took exception to my stories about deliberate tax evasion and failure to register full player income, anyway he no longer supports them cause ……. Well their dead.

My problem is that mostly my conversation always gets to talking about my first love, that’s Celtic by the by.

    All suggestions gratefully received :>)

    26 September 2009 – R*ngers v Aberdeen

McCulloch elbows Aberdeen player deliberately. No red card or TV evidence case by SPL.

    Referee – Iain Brines

Daily Record – ” R*ngers midfielder Lee McCulloch, however, was fortunate not to pick up a red card from Brines for an elbow on McGuire.”

R*ngers would have been playing 45 mins with 10 men if Brines had done his job. Next match for R*ngers was Old F**m (http://www.board67.com/forum/signaturepics/nomoreoldfirm.jpg) game. McCulloch escapes ban which could have been a 3 match ban for violent conduct

So, basically, players are allowed to hold back other players, and the other player must only say “gonnae let me go”

and he went on to seriously injure Beram ,surgery required, out for 5 months some may say he has never recovered, and no cards for that and no foul.

Haha, that park bench reminds me-my mates and I from Glasgow Uni Eng Soc did more damage to Dundee thirty years ago on a wee day-oot.

Park bench was flung in the hold of the bus, along wi a couple of waifs and strays.

Behaviour on the way back was worse……..

  15. vmhan, you could discuss the failure of corporation s to pay their way – oh wait

I know, discuss the breakdown of law and order over the years – nope , that wont work.

tell you what, talk about society and the importance of bigger businesses to honour their duty you smaller companies – drat, can see problems without that too.

I know. talk about the weather and stick to your conviction that the increased precipitation is a combination of tims ptsl and orcs greetin

The least surprising thing about that episode was that BBC Scotland decided to leave the incident out of their ‘highlights’ package – despite their website mentioning it in their match report.
