‘CELTIC SMILES BETTER,’ BROWN

SCOTT BROWN hopes to lead Celtic to an incredible NINETEEN-point advantage over Sevco Rangers at Ibrox tomorrow.

And Brendan Rodgers’ rampant Hoops still have a game in hand on their nearest challengers.
A Hogmanay victory would cap an outstanding first half of the campaign and the Parkhead skipper insisted the champions were concentrating solely on a triumph.
Brown said: “It’s always going to be hard going to Ibrox, no matter how many points you’re clear or if you’re chasing.
“But we’ve got to go there and believe in our ability and try to play our own game.

“There’s a lot of pressure on them. We’re a few points clear, but you still want to go there and get the three points and have a good performance.

“You’ve got to believe in yourself. We know we’re a good team and can create chances and score goals, but it’s about how we perform on the day.

“We’ve just got to enjoy the occasion. It’s fantastic to be going back to Ibrox, but we’ve got time to get ready and focus on Rangers now.

“No matter who we’re playing, I play with a smile on my face and enjoy winning leagues and, hopefully, we can continue that.”
