CELTIC are poised to unveil THREE new signings as the clock ticks down on Thursday’s 5pm transfer deadline.
Parma’s Danish midfielder Oliver Sorensen and PSV’s teenage playmaker Joel van den Berg have reportedly passed medicals and the deals are likely to be sealed imminently.
And Wolves’ former England international keeper Sam Johnstone looks to be on his way, too, on a season-long loan switch, as CQN reported last week.

However, it appears highly unlikely Torino’s Lithuanian middle-of-the-park performer Gvidas Gineitis, a target throughout the summer, will be joining following news from local sources that insist the Hoops will not meet the £9million valuation of the Serie A club.
The champions reputedly offered £6.5million in an initial move which was immediately rejected. They followed up with an improved bid at the weekend, but that, too, has been knocked back.
With Sorensen and Van den Berg seemingly ready to put pen to paper, it would be a major surprise if Celtic made a third offer for Gineitis, according to the Scottish Sun.

Boss O’Neill has been pushing for reinforcements in midfield after selling Arne Engels to West Ham and loaning Paulo Bernardo to Polish outfit Gornik Zabrze while there are still question marks over Reo Hatate’s future at the club.
Twenty-four-year-old Sorensen, who cost £8.5million when he joined the Italian club from Midtjylland in August last year, is set to agree a 12-month loan contract – with the Parkhead club having the option to make it permanent.
The Hoops are also set to snap up £3.5million-rated Van den Berg, PSV’s attacking midfielder and current Dutch Under-19 international skipper, in a four-year deal.

Thirty-three-year-old Johnstone is about to provide the answer to O’Neill’s search for another keeper although Celtic are still monitoring Blackburn Rovers’ Balazs Toth as a possible alternative.
The No.3 position remains a problem with the club still lacking adequate back-up for Kieran Tierney and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Gornik Zabrze has come on the Hoops’ radar.
Chelsea’s Landon Emenalo was also under consideration last month, but the youngster has fitness issues.
