CELTIC have stepped up their bid for Torino’s £9million-rated midfielder Gvidas Gineitis.
The champions have been linked with the Lithuanian international for most of the summer and are now pushing to get the deal done before Thursday’s deadline.
The Italian outfit rejected an offer of around £6.5million for Gineitis earlier this month, but the Hoops have returned with an enhanced figure in a bid to persuade the Serie A outfit to allow their player to move to Parkhead, according to local reports.
