NICOLAS KUHN will be allowed to leave Como in the summer with the Serie A club prepared to write off £7million on the ex-Celt’s transfer value.
After an outstanding season and 21 goals for the champions, the German winger moved to Italy in a £17.2million switch in July last year.
However, Kuhn’s form has taken a disastrous downturn at his new club and head coach Cesc Fabregas is ready to offload him in the summer, according to a report in local media Tuttomercatoweb.
The 26-year-old former Bayern Munich and Ajax prospect, who joined the Hoops for £3million from Rapid Vienna in January 2024, has made just six starts in his 22 appearances and claimed one goal.

Como are reportedly willing to accept a bid of around £10million for the flanker who signed a lucrative four-year deal in July.
Celtic, of course, will also take a hit with the player’s valuation dropping so alarmingly. The Parkhead club would have inserted in a sell-on clause in the contract which would have given them a percentage of any profit on future transfers.
Kuhn attracted European attention when he fired in a double in the 3-1 Champions League win over RB Leipzig at Parkhead in November 2024 and was also on target in the 1-1 draw with Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena three months later.
Last summer, with the deal about to be rubberstamped, former boss Brendan Rodgers insisted the switch was “a great bit of business” for the Hoops.
The Irishman, who quit Parkhead in late October, as reported in CQN, said: “In his 18 months, he’s done absolutely fantastic for us. He was aware of interest towards the end of last season and that sort of followed through.
“Other teams have joined in that interest over the summer and that’s why a lot of the young players come here.
“It’s a wonderful, brilliant club to come to develop and improve.
“If he does end up going and signing for Como, then it’s great business all round.”
The Serie A club would disagree with Rodgers after Kuhn’s performances so far this season.
