BRONDBY striker Mathias Kvistgaarden appears to be heading for Norwich City.

It’s a bizarre twist for the Danish international who has been linked with Celtic since CQN reported the champions were interested in August 2023.

Now it looks as though speculation concerning the 23-year-old frontman will come to an end with Kvistgaarden on the brink of joining the English second-tier club, according to a report in Mercato.

ON THE MOVE…Celtic-linked Matias Kvistgaarden is heading for Norwich City.

The forward appeared to be on his way to French club Lens after both clubs agreed a transfer fee, stated to be around the £10million mark.

However, Kvistgaarden, who scored 17 league goals in 29 appearances last season, is reportedly now destined for Carrow Road which will bring the guessing game to a conclusion.

The East Anglian side, who finished 13th in the Championship, never replaced Adam Idah after the Republic of Ireland attack-leader joined Celtic in a £9.5million move last summer.

The powerhouse hitman impressed in his brief loan spell at Parkhead with nine goals, including the Scottish Cup winner against Ibrox opposition at Hampden on the iconic date of May 25 last year.
