CELTIC are tracking £3.5 million-rated Polish striker Patryk Klimala.

The 21-year-old Jagiellonia Bialystok prospect is among the lengthy list of forwards on the Hoops’ radar as Neil Lennon Prioritises strengthening his attacking options.

Klimala has been impressive when the Hoops have watched him, according to a report in the Daily Record, and has moved up the target list with seven goals in 16 appearances this season.

Coincidentally, FC Copenhagen, Celtic’s Europa League opponents in the last-32 encounters next month, have also been linked with the hitman.

Italian outfit Genoa and a raft of Bundesliga sides have also been monitoring the forward’s progress.

His club Jagiellonia are aware their hottest property is attracting attention during this transfer window and it’s believed a clause in his contract will see him released for a fee in the region of £3.5million.

Lennon is determined to add to his firing line with Odsonne Edouard urgently requiring support with Leigh Griffiths and Vakoun Issouf Bayo struggling to add goals with just four between then this season.
