CELTIC have made the first move in their bid to assess Nigerian striker Stephen Odey.
The 19-year-old attacker, who plays for MFM in his country’s top flight, has already received an official letter of invitation “for medical evaluation”.
His club believe he will be offered a contract if he impresses during trials.
Odey has scored 14 goals this season and is being considered for his nation’s training camp in Corsica ahead of the forthcoming African Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa.
The pacy attacker is also attracting the attention of AIK Stockholm and FC Copenhagen.
