CELTIC’S Premiership match against St Johnstone at McDiarmid Park has been pushed back 24 hours and will now be played  on Sunday April 6.

With the champions zeroing in on their fourth successive title, the match will be shown live by Sky Sports with a midday kick-off.

Brendan Rodgers’ men enjoyed a goal romp in their previous trip to Perth on September 28 when they powered to a 6-0 triumph with Kyogo Furuhashi firing in a double and Paulo Bernardo, Callum McGregor, Daizen Maeda and Adam Idah adding the others.

The Hoops triumphed 4-0 at Parkhead in late December with Kyogo once again claiming two and Nicolas Kuhn and Maeda pitching in.

THUMB’S UP…Callum McGregor celebrates another cracker against St Johnstone this season.

After sacking Philippe Clement with Celtic 13 points ahead in pursuit of their thirteenth crown in 14 years, Rangers will have Barry Ferguson in interim charge when they face Dundee at Dens Park on March 29 with a 5.30pm start.

That match will also be broadcast live by the satellite giants and the former Ibrox skipper will be assisted by his new-look backroom team of Neil McCann, Billy Dodds and Allan McGregor.
