    Yang looked an upgrade on Maeda for me.

     

     

    Thought we were more flowing.

     

     

    Maedas work rate is both phenomenal and valuable but too much of his work comes to nothing.

     

     

    Yang is more productive and links up better imho.

    Lucky Cody classic case in point. Lawwell to blame and take issue with SFA for something the manager has not even said was a problem.

     

     

    Some logic there.

     

     

    Meantime in a parallel universe an injury ravaged team of players, half of which were written off by the experts on here 3 or 4 weeks ago beat a team which 3 or 4 weeks ago came to Glasgow and beat our nearest rivals 3-1.

     

     

    Maybe, just maybe, it takes more than 100 minutes of game time to really assess a players ability and potential…… unless of course you are an armchair expert.

     

     

    Delighted for Oh, Yang, Palma and Holm. Pleased to for other project like O’Riley and Johnston and especially pleased for escspegoats like Taylor and Scales. Hopefully Iwata and Bernebei (who also came on today) can gain confidence from seeing these other ‘wastes of money’ play half decent games today.

     

     

    Good also to see the 25,000 or so fans still in the stadium for the injury time rewarded with 3 great goals. Incredible to see so many head home with 23 minutes of playing time left after Palma penalty.

    Let’s be clear the only team to gain if the Aberdeen lad gets upgraded to a red card is rangers.

     

     

    That’s who they play next at Pittodrie.

     

     

    I expect full condemnation of the chap concerned this week.

    Every injury is someone elses’s opportunity,

     

     

    Maeda out Palma & Yang have Blinders,

     

    Scales would have been playing for Aberdeen today only for injuries to our Half Back line,

     

    Another player who will bloom when he gets a real chance is Iwata.

     

     

    My only concern is with the size of squad there is no place on the bench for any Academy players, in a way it’s a good problem to have, while I rejoice in Yang, Palma & Iwata, nothing gives me a bigger thrill then one of our own coming through the ranks.

     

     

    Finally on today’s game some of the play today was a pure joy to behold even allowing that Aberdeen were really poor.

    Rodgers didn’t answer the question for the obvious reason.

     

     

    Lawwell is Chairman of the Board. It was a sickening assault and Celtic need to request (VAR John Beaton ) is removed from all Celtic matches. This needs to be a Celtic position yet Lawwell will duck his responsibility; if there is not money in it for him he doesn’t want to know.

     

     

    Chairman Lawwell has already shown his disdain/hatred for the supporters. Now watch him fail to defend the safety of our players. Thats who we have as our Chairman — no values or integrity.

     

     

    (Sir) Robert Kelly or Fergus would not have been found wanting.
