They were actually talkin up that scumbag to be the next Tory leader if/when the Tories get booted out at the next election…
They’ll now bring in someone else who will continue with the same messages in the culture war anyway, pretending to be not so bad….

I sed to have a discount card for the Sportsman’s Emporium. Eastercriags had a discount there. The wee card had a wee quote from Bobby Charlton on the back. I’m pretty sure it said he was an honorary president tho cant find anything to back that up right now.

Downing Street circus continues.
Will Lord Cameron of “Quick, think of somewhere for his conferment” ride in and save the day? 🤦
Another rich, entitled brat but, crucially, was anti Brexit.
If Sunak gives him the Foreign Secretary gig, watch the right wing press go nuts and Civil war 🙌🍻🥂 ensue in “the party”
PS – I wonder how Sunak came up with the idea of Cameron?
Perhaps he saw him at the Cenotaph yesterday, had a quick think, then mentioned it to his private advisors last night?
“What about the guy five along from me for foreign sec?”
“Gordon Brown?”
“No. The guy next to him. Silly me. I always get four and five mixed up.”

As for Laurence Shankland ,went a while before he scored, good player but not for me ,maybe the Serbian player at Aberdeen I forget his name could be a good addition to our squad.or maybe try Stephen Welsh could be tried Chris Sutton was a good striker but when called upon he could play Centre Half ,so why not try Stephen as a striker ,and don’t forget he has scored a few goals for us ,

Shameless, transparent politics from (by all accounts) a remarkably unintelligent human being.
In times of crisis that shower invariably lurch to the right.
Far too premature a comment admittedly but, while they devour themselves, if Starmer doesn’t get 360 seats and two terms ((10 years) to start to fix things ….
…. IMHO he is underachieving

Braverman’s sacking will change nought.
The home office needs to be broken up into at least 2 departments – the current arrangement has failed for decades

The best realistic departure we could hope for this week is Barry Robson.
An awful manager and would be good for the Dons to get a bounce before the Huns turn up.
Great entertainment yesterday (and not talking about the read back on the blog). Two footballing wingers does throw up the enigma of the great presser of our time, Daizen nd what he brings, and pleased for big Oh.
Regardless of your view on the GB, we need their presence in the ground. Came across like a morgue at times on the telly. No solution in sight though.

I really enjoyed watching two skillful wingers do their stuff last night.
A few comments re Palma`s perceived `lack of speed`. I can`t say I noticed that.
I also like Iwata`s style and contribution.

Big Wavy,
With respect and please don’t take this personally.
Who cares how it came across on the TV. The big crowd were treated to a great performance and a great result. Everyone around me seemed happy enough, although I would guess only circa a third were there at the end.
One ultra group were not allowed in and the diagonally opposite group choose not to support the team.
Did it affect the team, not in the slightest. Perhaps the opposite it may be argued by some.
One question, do you think the 3 off pitch invasions was coincidental? I don’t know, did the TV have a view.?
I didn’t think the pitch invasions were a big deal, however the club may think otherwise Doing it in a European game will have huge consequences.
Anyways I hope you enjoyed the game. What a bounce back and cause for future optimism.

I no longer go to away games and I miss a lot of home games due to pesky work.
I enjoy ( most times ) watching us on the TV.
However I do think the the TV audience should always play second fiddle to the match day attendees.
Football without fans is nothing.
I do not think as a club we are optimising the match day experience. We should be looking at various initiatives that Dominic Mckay wanted to explore.
