Assuming it’s Matthews at LB and Ambrose at RB:

Denayer/Van Dijk – steady defensive partnership (not the best imo) – Virgil tends to play well v the dons.
The big worry for me is Matthews at LB. The games he has played there, and in that formation, have generally not worked out well for Celtic.
Ambrose/Commons we’ve only seen once together – they looked excellent, particularly Commons, with the massive caveat that it was against a very poor Hamilton side. Think Commons will be very important in this game.
Johansen and Griffiths – maybe it’s the way I prefer the game to be played, but I don’t like this pairing – not much football, lots of industry, expect a lot of Griffiths playing off the shoulder/offsides. You pays your money…
Bitton’s Mr Smooth persona will be tested in this game – I would still take Charlie over Nir to partner Brown, although the latter partnership has a better points/game record.
