We had a family HOOTENANNY (c/r BMCUWP) yesterday, both families and a few friends at ours for a party and to exchange gifts for Christmas.
I did manage a wee scroll back late last night but couldny remember much of it so had a wee read this morning.

There is absolutely no doubt that amid all the festive spirit & back slapping, Christmas is a very sad & hard time for many.
This year on CQN I am thinking particularly of Weet Weet Weet, but I am sure there are many others broken hearted & missing loved ones who have passed,
To all those in mourning or facing serious health worries, I send my love & prayers & my belief that things will get better in time.

I do not think we are at the stage where we can leave out Broonie, he is the heartbeat of the team and the squad, he has also become cuter and knows what other teams try with him, he is Captain and we go with him.

Sad news – RIP Eddie McCann
I was saying during the game yesterday that if Broonie was Italian or Spanish and called Bruninho he would be the best thing since sliced bread. He was flawless yet again, his performances and game management are immense. He is shoe in for Player of the Year.

The judge said that the CofS was not a court of appeal, and that was not the purpose of his judgement, who would you appeal to in the event of a Takeover Panel judgement or is this open to appeal? He seriously booted King’s argument into touch but also rejected part of the QC’s argument who was representing the Takeover Panel.

This advice is worth even less than the last one .. but I believe he has to seek leave (basically, permission) to appeal. The test for leave is basically that the case involves an import change or development in the law.
This is used to weed out most appeals, which might be important to the parties, but has no broader importance.
Based on my limited dealings with Scottish leave cases, I don’t see the sort of issues raised, such that leave would be granted in this case. But the initial step seemed unusual, and I am a bit out of my comfort zone on this one, so don’t be going and betting your weeks wages on this one!

That DK is allowed any influence in Scottiish football is a dereliction of the duty of the SFA to protect the game.
He should be called to account by the other clubs via the SFA to provide evidence he can do what he has promised, which is bank roll TRFC.
At the very least the clubs should be preparing for another insolvency event and deciding the conditions they will set for TRFC to continue taking part.
They have the powers under Club Licensing to do so, powers that the SFA Comp Off can only concluded the SFA have failed to utilise. Powers that UEFA have also recognised are not being used according to Phil.
It was self preservation that underpinned the 5 Way. The dangers of that agreement becoming more and more manifest might just alert other clubs to the necessity to exercise their collective responsibility to each other and so our game they govern on our behalf.
When a particular course of action designed to preserve self is not working it is human nature to try another.

I’m not in the least bit surprised to see DCK appeal the CoS decision. After ignoring the ToP and treating their decisions with contempt things are now all too real.
This is a time when we need wiser heads to advise but I believe the clock has started ticking and if DCK is not given leave to appeal this decision things could become very shaky for them in the last week of January.
Of course it seems to me that Mr King is playing for time with this appeal. To what end? Will the CoS allow it?
Still Celtic have an important transfer window at hand. With the Cup, the Europa and the Scottish Campionship to negotiate before we embark on a mammoth UCL summer qualification round.
We simply need more quality and experience in crucial positions… looks like we have already started well.
