Think Hayes has had limited chances but I agree, he hasn’t overly impressed. Get the impression he’s a little overawed at times, similar to GMS and SA when they first joined .

I hope he follows the SA route and gains a bit more belief about himself, performances will follow.

Johnstone looks like a very promising prospect, Maloney has high hopes for him.

Poor Murty the rest of this season is going to last an eternity I think he will be gone within a month.

I wonder who will eventually take a chance on their reputation and take charge ?

BTW …glad to see you posting a being upbeat , hope all goes well in the future .

I watched that match,Real Madrid were all over Barcelona.

    Without looking like scoring.

    Bang,0-1 and game over.

I’m not blaming Ronaldo-I thought that team lacked balance and dig in midfield-but his days of being the Big I Am are over. He needs his team-mates now,and they are surely needing performances like his today like a hole in the head.

Alex Ferguson turned him from a prancing Bambi into a team player, and a superstar.

He’s forgotten how to be a team player, and it won’t be long before he’s forgotten as a superstar anaw.

Hope yer smashin’ fine and dandy. Wee transatlantic huggy thing to you and yours.

“We have to try to be confident here. We have to play with attitude and an anger that we’re not going to be second best. You look at Hearts last week and see what can be done.

  5. Again , i would take a clean sheet (and a draw) if it gives the defence some confidence.

We hav’nt been scoring enough chances to give the defence some breathing space if they do slip up .

Cant wait to get Ryan Christie back in our team .

Enjoy ghuys and keep the uodates coming

  6. I know I shouldn’t but couldn’t help myself, had a peep into Hun Media.

Some of these guys are quite funny when they are pissed off and I think it’s fair to say , they are slightly pissed off today.

  7. JONNY Hayes will line-up against his former employers in today’s top-of-the-table tussle with Aberdeen as Brendan Rodgers makes three changes to the team that recorded a 2-0 win over Partick Thistle on Wednesday night.

Olivier Ntcham and Moussa Dembele also come into the side following the Glasgow derby victory, which extended the Hoops’ lead at the top of the table to five points over the Dons. Callum McGregor, James Forrest and Odsonne Edouard drop to the bench.

In the heart of the backline, Kristoffer Ajer retains his spot alongside Dedryck Boyata, following the young Norwegian’s impressive showing against the Jags.

Kick-off in Paradise is 3pm and head to @celticfc for all the pre-match build-up and live match updates as the Scottish treble-winners aim to cement their position at the league summit.

    Today’s team:

CELTIC (4-1-2-3) Gordon; Lustig, Boyata, Ajer, Tierney; Brown, Ntcham, Armstrong; Hayes, Dembele, Sinclair

Subs: De Vries, Simunovic, Bitton, Griffiths, Edouard, McGregor, Forrest

  8. Anyhow, enough of the fun & frolics, it’s time for game face on.

There is going to be a show.

    God Bless Tommy Burns.

In the early 80s,my mate and I were stuck for something to kill time till we met the girls about 730. Celtic were playing at Easter Rd,and I had an exam till noon,so why to do?

Let’s go to the Rangers v Aberdeen game. That will kill a few hours. I should point out we were on a heavy duty warning re sobriety.

So we sat in the Copeland Rd stand cheering on the huns-who were pish-against our nearest challengers.

We’d have got away with it anaw, but for McPherson handling in the box and me shouting penalty.

My mate’s 6’4″. Just as well.

  11. Aberdeen man for man pressing high, Celtic break Lustig puts Hayes clear, DEMBELE gets a tie to ball but should have left for Armstrong.

Free kick to us well inside their half cleared for corner
