    Gerry, the young , very fit George Connolly was an exceptional midfield player

     

     

    The mid twenties a not as fit George Connolly , was a very good defender and possibly the first ball playing centre back we had.

     

     

    The UNICEF charity game against Benfica in 1974 , George hit some wonderful passes for Wee Jimmy to run onto without Jinky having to break stride.

    Congratulations Celtic! Brilliant result today. Great celebrations between team and fans after the game. Kieran is definitely one of the Bhoys. Drove to the game and got parked surprisingly easily. Traffic was murder on the way home. Decided to watch the game again on TiVo. What is it with these officials at the presentation? Can they not find someone who can bear to smile after Celtic win. I thought the baldy guy was going to cry st one point. What about the good looking babe just behind him to the left. What a torn face had she. She couldn’t bear to look at some of our guys getting their medals but she had a good stare at Broonie! I eouldn’t like to take a burst pay packet home to her.?

     

     

    Anyhow, well done to Brendan on gaining his Magnificent 7 trophies. Onwards and upwards Celtic! A Club like no other.

    Fantastic Result for Celtic.

     

     

    I knew this was gonnae be a very hard Cup to win.

     

     

    Aiberdeen made us work so very hard to lift that Magical 7th bit of Silverware in a row.

     

     

    We wurnae firing on all cylinders, and I huvnae watched back yet (the Hampden view is really p!sh). The Dons made it a very hard game for Celtic. I’m sure they tried another tactic to beat the Celtic…. Give up an SPFL win last weekend to win a Trophy.

     

     

    It was so annoying to see Hamilton doing deliberate sh!t under inflated balls to try and put off Celtic.

    I tried to stay up for the fight but gave up trying to get a Link to see it.

     

     

    I seen how Tyson Fury got back up in the 12th round. That defied all the odds. He was basically knocked out.

     

     

    The Hour was so late in that fight. The 2 punches were so clinical.

    Why? Cos with hertz’ reversion to the ‘natural order’ (mid table mediocrity) and aberdeen’s Inherent inability to play against the stickies, there are now v few clubs that will take points off the Klub.
