Right, Focus time. Not the polis at your door at 4am for smiling focus….no the footie version.
Why? Cos with hertz’ reversion to the ‘natural order’ (mid table mediocrity) and aberdeen’s Inherent inability to play against the stickies, there are now v few clubs that will take points off the Klub.
No room for slip ups. No reason to give them hope or the MIBs any more encouragement.

Hope you enjoyed the jungle last night

Fantastic stuff at Hampden, Celtic. The various emotional post-match moments will remain longer in my memory than the game itself. Classy stuff at the goal from Ryan and Dedryck, though.
The internet regularly astonishes me. What a selfie by Chibs and Gaines, Tommy Flanagan and Tony Curran from Sons of Anarchy, wrapped in their Celtic scarves yesterday. I was shown it by a friend who follows Phil’s twitter updates.
A poster on this blog uses the perfect word to describe it. Kwalitee!
I see our players have disrespected the losing sides sensitivities after winning the Cup especially McInnes & Shinnie, since when did our Pro footballers become such sensitive Pansies
Big bad Celtic the bullies that they are I expect a ban for ungentlemanly conduct on the Horizon soon
It all kicked off yesterday when Lewis Ferguson barged into the back of Brown late in the game. Lustig clocked it and gave it to Ferguson big time at the final whistle. Shinnie went tonto and it kicked off from there. McInnes had words with Lustig at FT. Familiarity breeds contempt especially if you’re losing all the time as is the case with Aberdeen.

Shinnie started this bad blood when he tried to hobble brownie. Fek him.
Great, inadvertent line of self awareness by shinnie ref having to deal with happy tims, ‘I’m used to it by now…..’
Since Brendan walked in the door he has talked Hampden up… I think it has worked wonders for the players … remember footballers are just weans with a lot of money :-)
They need to be told what they like

As I’m off I thought I would watch he game again.
Apart from Lustig, our starting 11 yesterday looked very young.
Does anyone know the ages of our starting 11 and the average age???
When you get to my age pal, PC Mikka still looks very young!

Jobo / Petec,
Interesting exchange earlier about our participation in European football.
With respect, I don’t think the financial disparity with some ( but by no means all ) can be used to dismiss our prospects. We must have ambition and that ambition must include defying the odds. I like nothing better than winning when we are the underdog.
Paradoxically I think by using the financial argument in Europe, detracts from our mega successes and domination of Scottish football.
HH to all,

Having such a young team is lost with a lot of us… I thought I knew a bit about fitba and I thought in last few years that Callum MacGregor & Ryan Christie were decent footballers but not good enough for Celtic so delighted to be wrong … also loved two of the “old timers” Leigh & Craig Gordon with very happy smiles … we reside in great Celtic times :-)
Wonder if it would be busier if we didn’t win yesterday …. ah well, we will never know now … one of these days Brendan will lose a final/title but until then enjoy these truly beautiful days

Haha very good gftb yer right it’s all quiet on here and in the rags. They are fuming, raging, and desperate. The establishment will throw everything at Celtic to stop the trebel trebel and the unthinkable 10. This Cup was not easy. Playing each round while trying to get up to match fitness, squad rotation and European adventures was always going to be difficult. Aberdeen put up a good fight because they have seen the agricultural approach working against us, and many other teams will try the same. With our young talented and hungry squad another hoop will stand up to take up the challenge. We are too good on the park, where it counts. The sevco game will be the time to take away there last hopes. Brendan Rogers is here for the ten, great Mhan that he is. I couldn’t give a monkeys fir European success. The ten is the ultimate and lasting goal. Bring on the murderwell. Hail Hail

Scott Bain should be proud to have maintained a clean sheet in a winning cup final. Pretty sure, Stevie Woods was posing for snaps with the trophy, in between our two goalies, across the pitch by the north stand and I hope one makes its way into the wider world.
