But with a whistling hun with an agenda they almost stopped a football match breaking out.

The guy who picked up the trophy plinth there after Brendan dropped it. He looked really happy.

Dallas is just incompetent, didn’t try to ride us, he is just not a good ref, Thought Big Eddie played well but the final ball & a wee bit of greediness at times took the shine off his performance.
For me this is the Ryan Christie Final, What a couple of months for the Bhoy, on most people’s get rid list a few months back now he is the hero of the Club.
The smile on his face at the end reduced me to tears.

“It’s a soap opera! Dallas!” The ref’s performance defies rational analysis and that includes the “penalty”. It’s the right result; it was deserved but, as others have commented, Big Eddie and Scott S. baffle at times with their ineptitude.

GG although not a member of the clan, as far I know my second name is Christie and I am proud that a Christie, has won us the cup think you are referring to christies bakery in Coatbridge, love them bridies and pies.hh.

Very happy Bhoy this evening, and always. Now for a few more weißbiers. HH
Great result, dodgy performance. No need to criticise good players who were man marked / man handled the whole day.
Dallas is a fool, promoted above his abilities. That will not change, good luck to GMS one of my favourite footballers I hope he recovers well. Let’s just enjoy the day.
Win on Wednesday and we shut the Mankies right up. Take care everyone, the Lhad had a good day in Houston with 15 members of the Bobby Lennox CSC. Thanks for looking after him. HH

Awesome, Celtic.
The Ryan Christie Final – love it.

7 out of 7. Magnificent achievement.
We never really looked pushed today. Aberdeen defended well but had we maybe been less greedy and squared passes at crucial times then it’s a 3-0.
Go again now on Wednesday and let’s make it 8 out of 8.

Indeed Christie the Baker, although it’s the Airdrie one I’m more familiar with.
Great to see his parents enjoying his success.

BP I recall deidco signed a player called jim christie fae Ayr united. In the very early 60’s, he scored against us in his debut, the game finished 2-2 when big Frank contrived tae dive over the ball practically on his doorstep tae give them the equalizer in the last minute.
He only played 8 games scoring 8 goals including 2 against Monaco in the EC, then they sold him tae Hakoah in NSW
He must have had a Ben affleck granny.

Well done bhoys!
Harder slog than it needed to be some poor passing, retention and shooting but winners nonetheless.

Saint Stivs, Tears of joy are fine but I had a few young grandkids looking at me with worried looks on their wee faces. .
We had two massive games this week and we0ve won both of them, you can’t say fairer than that, well played Brendan and His Bhoys.))
With Young Miss Starry turning 18 as well it’s been a grand old week:))
Happy as Starry:))

Aberdeen reduced the game to a bit of a brawl , added to which we were a bit below our best , but still too good for them. Glad in a way that Sinky missed the penalty as the post match focus would have been on the fact that it was outside the box. Could have been more comfortable nearer the end if Eddy and Sinky had not persisted in making wrong decisions.
Hopefully Dallas’ performance will see him down in a lower division for a while.
I wonder if the sevconians are dismissing it as a diddy cup win seeing they won the league today ???
Well been invited over for dinner by my Sicilian gardner Joe and his wife.

YEEESSS.Result is everything in a final. Not at our best, but understandable.

Magic Celtic, won against all the odds, disgraceful cheating-refereeing, thug like tactics from the sheep.
Still we keep on winning.
There isn’t a better celebration than watching the players singing along!!!
Ryan’s a Tim
Those fine law abiding citizens of the green brigade having a
selfie with some corner bhoy.
Oh and it was NEVER a pen.
Stay safe and away from any trouble on your way home ….those supporters of the league leaders will be roaming looking for trouble …..
Fan-a-tic – agreed.
I would love to see a stat showing how often the ball is in the air when a team is in possession.
Aberdeen would be near the top of that league.
Corkcelt.
Trying to hold it together myself that scene of Ryan joining in YNWA just tipped me over.
Sure what’s a celebration without tears of joy.
Well played Celtic! No need to analyse the game today, that can wait for another day!

Great result and achievement but the game will not live long in the memory.
Great effort after a hard week .
When the celebrations die down, we are now on Project 8-
winning our 8th trophy/title in a row
& winning our 8th title in a row.
MOTM – Benkovic- hope Leicester were not watching
Craigan: Sutton pulls, he slacks: Sutton slacks, he pulls. There’s not a lot of objectivity there.
