There were calls for it to be made illegal after the Hibs /Sevco cup final. I don’t remember it going into law. There is the old favourite, “behaviour likely to cause a breach of the peace.”

TONTINE TIM You don’t read my posts then? :-(

*I did even McGinn getting booked again lol. Nothings getting done in Scotland as its the huns, calvinists, and now the trainspotters and they’re up tae there ars8e in the craft causing the bother, now that its happened dawn sarf things might change.

I also read that Scotland is awash with the marching powder and its now blatantly used and yet nae drug testing in Scottish fitba, it was this that possibly saved big Stubbsie’s life.

Cast your minds back tae the player who almost ended our stopping the crooked ten celebrations on that magical May 9 1998 day, 2 years and 8 months later along with a teammate he was given the tin tack following drug-taking allegations.

The two players, it was alleged, were found using an unidentified white powder at the club’s Christmas 2000 party in a Perth rub a dub dub.

The SPL attempted to overturn the sacking but it was over-ruled by the SFA. Changed days.

Amazingly he went on to play for another 8 years in the lower leagues in Scotland and the black north before returning tae play in the Juniors in Scotland. He eventually returned tae live in the shankill.

If I read your posts I wouldn’t know the poster :-)

John McGinn … the most wrote about non-Celtic player on these pages

    Seemingly BR wanted him

Seemingly Peter didn’t give BR him

    Seemingly JMcG is Celtic daft

    Seemingly BR was Celtic daft

How many yellow cards would the Aston Villa player get if he ever had the chance to live his dream and wear the hoops ….. and not the Villa strip

Answer …. more yellow and reds than Morelos or MacGregor (Allan not Callum)

    IMO

He hasnt quite got to grips with game down there. His game is about breaking down moves. He obviously struggles just now.

Lovely tale (tail…)! What about “Martina “, after one of the Principals of the Donkey Sanctuary! Very sunny, but bitterly cold in Bonnie Dundee today. Yesterday’s match was disappointing, but always worthwhile, as someone once said. Got to share the day with my, not so little, Bhoy. HH

    Breaking news down here…….

Yesterday mum Sophie was being very protective of her wee yin but from what we could see there was nothing there to indicate the goal was a boy. Today Sophie has allowed Us to touch and clap her foal and Mrs Scaniel, who knows a thing or two about these matters, has announced the foal is definitely a Bhoy! I’m now having difficulty persuading the 4 female members of the household to name the foal Delaney!

Looks like B made the right decision not to go yesterday. Glad you caught up with your Bhoy. Hoping to make the Livi game with my wee grandson for his first game.

    THE EXILED TIM

Just as well they are honest, upright, respectable members of society then.

  8. GFTB how are you fellow glenbogian,??, talking of Brendan, cambhoy was saying early this morning that the first time Brendan ever walked into celtic park, was his introduction to the fans, incredible if true.hh.

If we had signed him, MacGregor or Christie wouldn’t have been near the first team … far too much write about somebody who “still” had the chance to sign and didn’t… am no going to slag him for probably setting him and his family up for life but spare me the shoite of being Celtic through and through … pish

Glenboag will always have a Glasgow post code and am afraid Coatbridge wil always be Coatbrig :-)

Is Neil our manager, only because Stevie Clarke said no to us through the media ?

    Great stuff …

Enjoyed your posts about the donkey(s) much more enjoyable than the posts about our Celtic donkeys (in some eyes :-)

  12. You could hardly get a more scottish word than steward ( stewart ) but they are hopelessly lost in the midst of all this. Not surprising, because clubs have shifted the responsibilty to the police force in order to save money. As a result internal security is inefficient and insufficient. In the image of Tavernier being confronted on the pitch it looks like the yellow coat is just watching the match. Lets train up some decent Stewards.

  13. Having fully watched the incident it is a bit of a storm in a tea cup. the attack on Lworsewhen he was Celtic manager at Tynecastle was much worse. This is perfect for the shortbread and edinburger narrative. Crucify Hibs , support Rangers and massacre the beautiful game. Congratulations to The Welsh rugby team for yesterday’s fighting display, where the game is played as a working class sport.

James Forrest from the Celtic blog-we get it ,you don’t want Lenny as manager ffs!

At least it’s stopped you obsessing about newco in your rants.

    For now ?

  15. PR 67. I know, I know….but I’ve got 4 strong women to contend with…. and if G had come down to visit the donkeys last year I would have had a stronger hand!! Trying my best.

  16. ok ive just posted this on another blog, growing up in the Lanarkshire catholic schools system, st davids day nothing, st Andrews day nothing, st georges day definitely nothing, st patricks day we had a little green ribbon on our school blazers, and correct me if im wrong a half holiday from school, moral of the story nobody give a toss about the other 3 saints ,hail Gloria st Patrick hail queen of our isle.hh.

Agreeing with me means you know heehaw about Celtic :-)

    Fairhill Bhoy 6.15pm

I would love to disagree for the sake of disagreeing but I think the unimportant Jamesy F is happier criticising Celtic … before I posted on this blog I enjoyed his posts … now it’s more about the blogger than the post

Hope you don’t mind me asking that does your old man think of BR ??? Am pretty sure you are the same view as me but always interested in people who know fae more about Celtic than me …. obviously your father and not you that is :-)

  18. fairhill bhoy on

Gftb-hi mate, regarding james Forrest the Celtic blog,I agree the guy makes it up as he goes along to suit his own argument, and he doesn’t do criticism either ?

Gerry my dad has took a dislike to Rodgers ?

  19. BP1, this is the feast of St Kessog, who was educated by Dumbarton born St Patrick, the original patron saint of Scotland to whom both Willam Wallace aka Braveheart and Robert the Bruce prayed to before going intae battle and then along comes the reformation and nae chance an Irish ben affleck is the patron saint so they give it to a Galilean fisherman.

  20. Fairhill Bhoy 7.14pm

Older fans and younger fans all bought into BR… I don’t wish him any harm but I can assure you he “duped” me …. anyways I only asked as your old man knows much more than us :-)

I think even from afar am gutted I bought into the charade …. BuT will never unappreciate 7 trophies ? on the bounce …. he brought us

Delighted your Da loves Celtic more than the Leicester manager :-)

  21. fairhill bhoy on

GFTB-can assure you my dad doesn’t know anymore about fitba than the next person ?

Not all oldies know it all ,not even on here ?

Seems Toljan has now been designated escaped goat.

    ———————–

Personally, I think he is still settling in. Has some nice touches and good footwork – probably better going forward than as an out-and-out defender. Seems to get better (going forward) in the latter stages of games. I like the look of him.

  23. fairhill bhoy on

Fan-to be fair I’ve only seen him at parkhead and he is maybe faster going forward, and being younger he certainly looks more mobile but he isn’t a better right back than Lustic.

In my opinion, and certainly not a goat??

  24. Yesterday I was hugely dissapointed in several players performance and lack of creativity

so I Looked at 2 player stats there

As we like to play with 2 wide men

James Forrest 349 games – 50 goals & 29 assists, so a goal every 7 games and a goal assist every 12 games

Scott Sinclair 151 games – 60 goals & 19 assists, so a goal every 2.5 games, with an assist every 7.5 games

I think one of those players have very poor stats ????

I do miss CelticByNumbers breakdown and detail

    Hail Hal
