Two subs at HT is a bit of playing to the galleries, unnecessarily
No matter how big a Celt Neil is, he has done everything he ever wanted to do at Celtic, achieved every ambition.
Thats why he shouldn’t be considered to take us to the next level

I agree re subs.
I would have subbed James with Eddie at the half, and moved Burke to the wing.
I’m unconvinced on Toljan as I said before, so I would always have Lustig playing from the start particularly in these physical games.

Oh and I only forgot David17 because of his appalling time keeping! Cheers mate.

I tend to agree . No point in backward looking if you want to progress . Some slack passing , too many doomed attempts to dribble through a forest of red , too many ‘heid doon’ final passes/crosses. Why must Bitton wait that half second to make a pass which would maybe have hurt Aberdeen if it had been made a half second earlier?
Scaniel on
Many Thanks for all the updates. I really love (and depend on) following the game on CQN. Hitting the refresh button every 30 seconds in the last 10 minutes worked against the diet huns but not so today . Ach Well, maintaining the 8 point gap is good. Was hoping to make it today to be involved in the collection for An Gorta Mor, (donation made in lieu of attendance) but now targeting the Livi match as the one to take my grandson to his first real game at Parkhead (the Petrov/Milner one doesn’t really count).
On another matter, and hopefully an uplifting tale, some of you may know we run a wee donkey rescue charity, specialising in older donkeys and as such we are very proud to be chosen as the Seville Benefactor for Goals Galore 4. Well this morning after reading back about events at Easter Road last night and with a broad smile on my face, I ventured out to start the day with the donkeys……and Lo and Behold our lovely Sophie had given birth to a gorgeous baby donkey girl! Now, we have a strict no breeding policy, but Sophie was rescued from a caravan site in the North Lakes just 10 days before Xmas and had obviously been serviced by the other donkey she was roaming with at that time. Donkeys tend to conceal their pregnancy as they are not flight animals and are not fast enough to run away from predators. We kinda knew she would have been preggers but had no idea when her birthing date would be – again donkeys have a longer gestation period from horses and it can range between 11 to 13 months. So it was a total surprise when I entered her stable this morning to discover she had birthed, cleaned up and was busy feeding her wee yin. What a ghal! Now comes the tricky bit of naming her. If it was to be a boy then Delaney or Dunky or even Duncan would have been a shoe-in. Not so good with filly names……any suggestions?
Now next week, just make it a Happy Saint Patrick’s Day Celtic up in Friesdorferland.
Made my little donation today. I hope you achieved your goals, tough competition with the Marie Curie team out in force today and with a great cause to be supported also.
I am sure our support rose to the occasion.

I think we should save our £6m for somebody who is worth £6m .
He’s good going forward but switches off defensively . I’ve seen him do this at least once every time I’ve watched him. No point dropping Mikel for his legs not working and replacing him with Jeremy with his brain not working.

We also have a sanctuary just 400 metres away from our place in Montizana in Croatia. No holiday is complete without bags of carrots to feed them.

We were gash today. No inventive midfield play, given who was available.
Hope we can get it over the line. Lenny is a lovely Celtic Bhoy but he is not the answer.
I didnae get to the game, although set out as usual, a scarey day and I was so looking forward to it as well.
I managed to see some of the 2nd half on a dodgy stream that kept on dying the later the half went on – ended up just listening to the actual live (not 2 minutes behind stream) audio of Radio Scotland.
The Celtic Midfield has been decimated by injuries and I’m not too despondent about not taking all 3 points Today. Aberdeen are very good at nullifying threats by being mega cohesive defensively, it is interesting they are not doing so well @ Home where they are expected to Win/take the game to the opposition.
Neil said after the game in his interview that perhaps there was mental tiredness after what has happened to the Team as a whole over the last fortnight. I agree with him there.

I was surprised that Eduard wasn’t in the first eleven. I was even more surprised at the amount of changes NL made at half time.
I’m a huge fan of wee Jamsie but today wasn’t the day for moving him to the “number 10” spot. It handed Aberdeen an advantage in a condensed area of the park . Young Henderson was more suited to that particular role today.
The class that Callum McGregor brings , was sadly missed.
No huge damage done and I agree with BSR that Aberdeen are our most difficult domestic opponent.
Just another observation. I saw Cal MAC , Ryan C , and C. Gordon all , at different times make the walk from the old school car park to front door of the stadium.
Each player must have had their photos taken with literally dozens of fans . Nothing was a hassle for them. Good to see. HH
