    I was dropped on my head in 1974, both of my sisters refused to watch me, we lived on a 4 in a block, one said she would drop me, the other said she wouldn’t catch me, they were both true to their woes, rushed to Yorkhill and my father knocked the living hell out of them, I love being able to bring up the facts up at every family doo, am really close to both of them, probably guilt on their part :-)

    Don’t shoot the messenger, but the relevant section in this is:

     

     

    For many years, Liverpool ’s response to Heysel was woefully inadequate. I was shown a copy of the club’s official yearbook for 1985/86. There were two articles about the tragedy on page three, but they were both of the “Let’s put this behind us, improve the matchday Anfield atmosphere and look to restore the club’s good name” variety. There was no direct reference to what had happened. There was no hint of an apology. Later there was a round-up of the previous European Cup campaign, in which 1985/86 was identified as a “watershed” because it would be Liverpool ’s last for some time.

    Jungle Jim, the two players playing in Scotland the now we should sign, are John McGinn and Johnny Hayes.

     

     

    McGinn could be Broonie’s replacement or Liam Henderson could be a replacement for Scott. Hayes is a good player, can use both his feet (always a plus). Hayes would replace Forrest and has more football intelligence than James.

    Gerry. Calum, as someone posted earlier, has the good habit of moving the ball quickly.

     

     

    Credit where credit is due, he has responded well to criticism from last season along with his off field issue this season, really well

     

     

    If he had a bit more dig, he could improve even more.

    Whilst agreeing re the quality of those two, I believe we have sufficient good players. They simply have to play better! Besides, I am not that keen on weakening our main rival.
