Derek Ferguson referred to the nonsense that his son wouldn’t play for Celtic because his Dad played for rangers. He said it was not true.
Now you and I know that Dads a Hun but why would he say that? I believe his brother Barrys boys were Celtic fans due to their mothers influence
Nevertheless, the point is that as most of the bhoys coming through the Academy seem to not have the quality required for our first team, so in order to produce the UEFA required home grown players, we need to bring in more players who came through SPFL youth stream. So I suggest signing the best young players from other SPFL clubs for positions that we need cover.
RB – Doig of Hibs, CB -Porteous of Hibs, Mid – Campbell of Motherwell, Ferguson of Aberdeen. I am sure there will be others but these 4 would improve our team for not Huge transfer Fees nor wages
I contend that a large number of our players don’t want to play for Celtic and that there is no road back for them Neil Lennon said this back in October and our piss poor performances from a team who won the previous 12 trophies in a row in the last 5 months are a disgrace

Couldn’t agree more – however they all have agents who will be feeding them stories of interested parties based on what they’ve shown to date.
Human nature says that individuals would look to protect themselves from an injury that would/could wreck any lucrative deal – giving 100% in every game is, I submit, not an option.
We have the stadium resource – we have the fan resource – what we don’t have is the finance to attract and keep the player resource. This also applies to the calibre of manager we may attract/keep.
Unless we were able to join the EPL, or, something similar; we must accept that being the best of in mediocre league in Scotland and a few rounds in Europe, is our lot – hard to swallow I know – the football world has changed.
FB- exactly, if we fill the team full of SPFL guys,we will go nowhere, Ferguson, Gallagher, O’Donnell, Porteous……Taylor…..

The more games I watch the longer the rebuild , I’m starting to move from the camp that thinks football can change quickly etc to crikey we’re gubbed
We need an experienced manager to sort the mess which has been left behind … difference between 1st and 2nd half performance is scary , it looks like the opposition know we can’t run about for 90 mins so just let us have the ball until we get a bit leggy …

We usually go to Lanzarote last week in September first week in October
Due the planes have being grounded for so long we are waiting till next year in case there are any mechanical issues…..the wifes paranoid enough about flying.
Secondly ,hopefully we’ll be clear of any Covid related issues.
