    Will new man, if it is a new man be allowed to select his own back room team? And if not, why not?

    Here is my wee theory with a Director of Football.

     

     

    They will select ALL THE STAFF, for the Football Operations department. That might me someone gets to bring their own backroom staff, but could also mean every job is up for an individual selection process.

     

     

    I see both structrues beibg in place elsewhere. The Liverpool documentary and the City one show majority of staff stay in place even when there is managerial change.

    If fans can do what they did to the legend that is Neal, then I would despair if Henrik got the same treatment.

     

     

    Someone wrote other day on twitter, their relationship with other celtic fans had changed through this,

     

     

    Maybe it is an age & maturity thing, but those scenes of the car park demo, the banners, the graffiti, the lennoxtown turn ups, that was all physical, with menace, over the top, ultra inspired, I dont like what i am seeing,

     

     

    I hate to use the word but it is all undignified compared to Celts for Change, maybe it is the different leaders involved.

    Also, on the day NFL was announced as leaving, the loop on sky was the car park demos, giving the impression of fan power, they took great delight in playing over and over.

     

     

    I doubt very much the billionaires on the board of the PLC took it well.

    Saint Stivs Totally agree mate but I wont judge Celts by the worst of us , or the best of us, but by those I know personally , I don’t get how the people who gave us all those triumphs and trophies can get ridiculed and abused , it is not right imo.

    again, not so much embarrased as suprised they got so much wrong.

     

     

    Take the name Celtic away and the emotion around PL, apply all the normal business measurements, and ultimately it is run succesfully, AS A BUSINESS.

     

     

    On football results, we had 2 bad quarters. on the back of 30 previous succesful ones.

     

     

    Strachan talking yesterday, pretty much said “trust these people , they will get it right again”.

    I am personally not embarrassed either for our run of poor results, but certain players should be.

     

     

    When their manager states they have let him down and have no will to win, then they should be embarrassed.

     

     

    Last year many of us on here recognised that certain players weren’t giving 100%. We were not wrong.

    Also the figurehead doesn’t have to be Larsson , just someone who gets instant respect , Xavi for example aided by someone who knows the club / league and then a Maloney / beale type , just my thoughts :)
