  1. I think we all know Clancy,Walsh & Collum are not Rangers supporters. So their motovation has to

be money Bribery is the word £££££ . Stands to reason what else could it be .Two games most weeks .

Then whatever is in the BROWN envelope from Govan ,why else are they so blatant with their decisions ,

The fix is in for this campaign again . Will the Celtic board call the coruption out ????

    Abada Jota Kyogo

Three speedsters, hardly a ball over the top to maximize their speed.

    Why?

    ______

I’ve offered a view above which is that, unless we win with a high press (and our 3 midfielders aren’t good enough at pressing – 2 immobile and 1 can’t tackle) we seem obsessed with getting it wide and cross into the box. Getting it wide consists of Jota on his own or Abada playing in Ralston.

I do recognise it’s hard when teams play a low block but we need to move the ball quicker than we do.

We also need athleticism and creativity in the middle of the park in January. Pleased to hear about Harate who looks the template for the former, we’ll get 2 on, 3 off with Tom. Oh for a Christie with a brain too.

    It’s not bribery.

It’s an unfortunate combination of cultural hegemony (what’s good for the huns is good for Scoddish football) and the personality types of the sort of people who want to be referees (deferential towards those in authority and supportive of existing power structures).

It’s also self interest. If they go with the flow they’ll get preferment and will gain status within their peer group.

Thought Abada was poor today but wouldn’t write him off.

Jack Hendry & Anthony Ralston were amongst the many written off here.

McCarthy was getting pelters all week, nobody complaining today.

Ref ruined game, We should have won by more but our winning goal was a fluke and Juranovic had to head one off the line.

It’s a funny old game OK.

    ___________________________

Abada is good young player, who needs a team that will set out a formation from which his speed should be a telling factor, not an obscured extra.

Jack Henry, better coaching = better player.

Ralston at long last, has a coach who believes in him, long may it continue.

McCarthy is a reminder of why Dominic was removed, supposedly, for giving this player a 4 year contract?

Or was Dominic used as a squirrel to sell out tickets?

Every Celtic managers team talk should include the MiB as our enemy, then we can complain afterwards when its too late.

It is a funny old game.

  6. Avidly reading the blog there and it was funny that just after Aberdeen got given their goal the shady bloggers started to surface on here. Bheaver first and the prepostorous Brian F next. Fortunately the good offices of Parkheadcumsalford, Burnley 78 Dessybhoy Tom McLaughlin and the Exhiled Tim among others were keeping us real.

Jack Hendry had a year with Brendan Rodgers and his excellent coaching team. He seemed to get worse. If you’ve watched him in the champions league this season you wont be in any hurry to get him back to Celtic

  8. Good result today considering the disappointment of Thursday. We need a playmaker to supply our exciting forward players, we lack something without Rogic in the team.

From earlier don’t know you said it.

Pat Bonner being accused of being a souptaker is highly insulting. If you think he talks shite about Celtic fair enough, to use that patter is unbecoming of a Celtic fan imo

No chance of Celtic PLC calling out the corruption as a fairly governed game would see their business partners from Govan go bust. They did their best to stop it happening the first time, then despite oldco’s cheating, tried to get the newco straight into the SPL and then privately sanctioned the 5WA. They’re up to their necks in it and need chased out the door ASAP. Absolute charlatans who don’t give a flying fuck about how the real fans feel. Sick to death of them!

    ____________

I haven’t watched Hendry this season no.

Ralston didn’t get much of a lookin under BR, look at him now.

I hope Hendry does well, unless its against us.

If he does well elsewhere it’ll make other clubs look at Celtic for players, especially after all of the players who’ve left us for greater things, all the way back to Britain’s best ever player, imho, King Kenny Dalglish, and loads more before him, but KKD was the best for me.

I don’t agree with his activities after playing.

There was always the closeness between KKD and Souness, after they were team mates for many years at Liverpool.

A lot theres of ex Celts doing well.

They’ll always have the bit in them that connects them to Celtic, whether they were dyed in the wool Tims or not.

Some left under a cloud and a bitterness was allowed to fester, the most recent period being when Fergus removed the first teams bonus money from the Celtic players who were about to try and qualify for the Champions League for the first in our history, and Fergus gave players bonus money to the sick children’s hospital, in an attempt to win a moral argument against players being paid a qualification bonus, as Fergus’s antics created a massive media circus around the players before our qualifier which we lost v Croatia Zagreb, Fergus using the anti Celtic msm to rubbish ‘greedy players’ as he called them, was like a wee man syndrome induced, bull in a China shop on steroids type of a msm disaster, that Fergus was famed for.

Celtic and capitalism is a marriage made in hell.

Gerry McCulloch is like a speaking, Celtic View, fake and scunnering.

GM was a skelper of Celtic fans on SSB, speaking over them, trashing their calls without allowing a single reply, old firm this, old firm that, “we’re not tax experts, we’re not legal experts” etc, etc.

Celtic fans need to stop financing the ignoramus capitalists who’d not bat an eye lid about recruiting GM.

    ______

I’m over being sick at the PLC, they simply do what PLC’s do, screw whoever they can!

I’m more sick of the fans who allow themselves to be beaten by emotional weakness on ticket renewal day!

Its because of that weakness the PLC always win on renewal day.

    Only fans can change that.

If the fans are too weak to change their belief systems on renewal day, only lots of defeats at the hands of the huns will generate enough anger within fans to, rip up their belief systems and write out a new system.

Right now, it looks to me like, the PLC could resurrect the black & tans and put them on the board, and Celtic fans would still renew in huge numbers if we were still winning our share of trophies, and that would be the fans fault, not the boards!

  25. The hand of God on

Great 3 points yesterday earned after a difficult away European tie with lots of players out against a team licenced to kick us without punishment. Have to hang right in there and the board must support Ange in January, huge opportunity for us.

  26. Good morning Timland from a dark and very cold Garngad

3 points again is all that matters in the end.

It wasnt Abbadas finest game but he is young and has a big future.

We need players back and in Asap. Sick note Julienne I dont think will play this year and I have my doubts about his commitment after Christmas, so maybe another centre half required in January window.

Definitely need another creative midfielder to capitalise on our possession in midfield and find Kyogo’s runs.

Turnbull need dropped IMO and his free kicks and corners wtf.

So we need at least 4 in but is January the time?

This corrupt board could have fecked us up for another season with the kiddy on Howe incident.

  28. Morning all, Thommo reveals was sally said to Neil Lennon in that game.

Giving his ring-side view in his book A Geordie Celt, The Sun reports Thompson’s version:

The Scottish Cup fifth round replay was back at ours and if the first had been ill-tempered, then this was to be known as ‘the shame game’ — with players almost getting locked up by the police off the pitch and a few red cards thrown in for good measure.

Rangers defenders Madjid Bougherra and Steven Whittaker both saw red with Diouf getting up to his old tricks and he saw red also. The game from start to finish was absolute mayhem. It’s not as if these games are normally good-tempered but this was extra spiteful.

McCoist at the time pointed the finger at Lenny regarding what happened between them. He said Lenny acted over- aggressively, which wasn’t the case in my opinion, and I broke them up.

What really started it off was Diouf gave our physiotherapist a hard shoulder and it escalated from there. Brown took a few kicks and Kris Commons got clattered in front of our dugout, which sent our emotions sky high.

All the way through the game Diouf was dishing out verbals on everyone in a hooped shirt and even directed a few to myself and Lenny on the sidelines.

Don’t forget it was Lenny and me opposing him exactly eight years previously when Celtic played against Liverpool in the Uefa Cup match at Parkhead — and he infamously spat at Celtic fans.

You look at Diouf and he was pretty decent. The guy had been with some good clubs but in my opinion the only reason Rangers brought him in on loan was to wind the Celtic fans up. He was brought in by Rangers for the shock value.

Diouf was ‘on one’ that night and I told him many times to ‘do one’ away from our area as he was constantly trying to sneak in closer to our area to noise us up.

When the final whistle blew, and we had won the game, all the staff went over to shake hands with the opposing team as you do, and Lenny went to shake Coisty’s hand.

I was stood so close that I clearly heard Ally tell Lenny, ‘And don’t you be speaking to my f&&%g players like that’, only for Lenny to tell him, ‘They’re not your f*&^&g players, they’re Walter’s.

It’s never been disclosed what was actually said in over a decade now — but I’m telling you that was the spark that lit the fire and Hell was hot.

Lenny was right because Walter was the gaffer and Ally was only the No?2 at that time. Ally didn’t take well to that. The Rangers boys were all trying to say it was our fault but any team who receives three red cards in one match need to have a long hard look at themselves.

Diouf was red carded at the final whistle with team-mates Richard Foster, Steve Davis, John Fleck and Kyle Hutton booked. Dan Majstorovic, Wilson and Scott Brown of Celtic were booked.

  29. martim1980

Oh for an Alan Thompson these days, a player who along with Lenny, Chris and John helped add not just a physical but a mental steel to Martin’s Celtic team. First in when Lenny got attacked at Tynecastle with the assailant dragged off his feet, (big Sammy not far behind) and had that happened on Tyneside it would not have ended well for the miscreant. His version of events re McCoist and Lennon chime with a version told to me years ago, by a supporter of the original Rangers, and will no doubt disappoint many of the conspiracy theorists among the Celtic support, most it has to be said who weren’t at the Scottish Cup replay back in 2011. If I remember correctly it was the late Walter Smith who saved Coisty’s bacon with the ol’ “haud me back” manoeuvre. Hate to say it but there was a proper “Old Firm” atmosphere that night, albeit with the crowd relatively well behaved, unlike the players and assistants wearing blue. Shame game? No, we won didn’t we?

  30. MARTIM1980

    Thanks for that.

Only in Scotland would one team have 3 red cards and 4 yellows against a team with 2 yellows and have both teams carpeted for a so-called “shame game”.

They simply could not bring themselves to accuse the establishment team without dragging the upstart Tims into the dock with them.

Diouf was/is an absolute cretin of a man and it says it all about the mentality of that club that they invested in his services. Just like Joey Barton.
