When you know the masons are going to cheat dont give them any sniff of giving a penalty. It has always been like this unfortunately. Be smart. There was no need for Abada to attempt get the ball.
See your point and agree Abada’s execution was poor but but it’s the thin end of the wedge.
If you stop going for 50/50 balls in the box, before you know it you stop going for 60/40s in the box, then 60/40s all over the pitch.
The fair fix is for us to be treated equitably.
Clancy doesn’t do that.
Witness his sheer indifference to two of our players being assaulted in Dundee United game.
The man knows he won’t get a hard time from anyone refereeing this way.

Incredible that the team and the crowd seem happy to accept a disgraceful decision by Clancy, in fact several of these. In years gone by this would galvanise team and club to drive forward with a sense of grievance. These days the fans would rather jist go and queue for a pie and the team pass the ball square across the midfield.

Embarrassing CelticTV interview with Jota. Asked him if he’d tried Irn-Bru. He didn’t know what it was. Told it was a drink. He said he doesn’t touch alcohol. So he was told it was a soft drink and unbelievably they gave him a bottle and told him to taste it. He clearly didn’t want to but was told he didn’t need to drink it all. He took a sip and said it wasn’t for him.

Clancy is one of the worst for giving penalties against us and conversely giving us stick on penalties. I remember Scott Brown getting poleaxed in front of him at intoxicated and he let it go.
We’re so flat it’s hard to fathom – post Europa or not, this was always the game we had to win this week.
