    I couldn’t make game today

My daughter had her 4 year old Bhoy at his first league game today

    Now that is hugely important

    And yes

They left on the 88th minute, so wee Judebhoy was caught up in a crowd leaving

  2. LAFAN

Ferguson tried to take Jota out in the first 3 minutes with a cynical studs down stamp on his achilles.

  3. Lafan,

My concern too. Hun game. They’ll double mark him. Where’s our alternative coming from at the moment?

Need Rogic fit and playing. When we seen Josip on his left foot with that cross we know why he cuts it back and uses his right. It’s atrocious. That limits us.

Are we now so focussed on hitting it wide to getting it in that we miss the Kyogo pass from the centre ? One to watch.

  4. I also rightly or wrongly believe that Ange has been told that Boli is a last resort, else why would he play a proven international out of position, I accept that Ralston is doing well, but not well enough IMO to play ahead of Josip.

  5. Celtic Mac

    🤔😂😂

There is a valid reason a few leave their seats early was the point, which I know you will have got

Generally a crowd gathers in the tunnels to watch last few minutes

  6. Got in behind them a lot, especially the first half, without taking advantage.

Seemed like a dive for the penalty but I was a long way away. And our players didn’t protest much / enough.

Aberdeen players injured after every attack. Matched by Kyogo going down every time he got hit in the head. I guess the J-League frowns on contact with the head and he’s not used to it.

Why no yellow card for the late and heavy challenge on Joe Hart.

Still good three points. Thought Ralston was outstanding again. But Jota Motm.

  7. Incidentally

Wee Judebhoy phoned his Granda, to tell me Celtic had won 2 – 1

He got a new Celtic Tammy and Gloves

And more importantly he would be now coming with me to see the Celtic, when his mum can’t make it

    💚💚💚

  8. Thought James McCarthy strolled through that game(in good way)

Great effort from kyphosis and ralston

Great effort too from Clancy but we sickened him with the result.

I do wish we as a club, would comment on some of these refereeing displays.

Aberdeen could have had a couple of bookings early on for “tackles” on hart and jota but no it seems it’s more important to stop Celtic players throwing the ball away

Real mixed comments on here regarding McCarthy. I didn’t see the game – how was he?

    —————-

    He did well tbf

I moaned about him not being available as an out ball for centre halfs as we build

Someone pointed out he was doing his job (norrieM)

And tbf he did his job well

    No real complaints from me

  10. Options opening up which is good.

Ange Postecoglou says Tom Rogic will definitely be available for Thursday night against Hearts. Nir Bitton should be as well. Carl Starfelt and Greg Taylor also not too far way.

  11. Delighted with the three points.

Token tim’s intervention with the nothing penalty, and sighs for VAR where we may have Andrew Dallas to help? Thursday night’s lung busting heroics could have haunted us, but we got the break with a flukey goal to momentarily cancel out the SFA, till Thursday at least.

No loss at CB where Stephen Welsh is easily better than Carl Starfelt, CCV remains a must have signing, and the conundrum of playing two undroppable right backs, with one on the left, could continue for a season at least. Juranovic and Ralston were both excellent, in a sequence of excellent games. MacGregor was just superb and strutting James McCarthy in the Scott Brown role, may have just justified another start, whilst Bitton and Rogic are still injured.

Jota and Kyogo had more mixed fortunes, not the Japanese player’s type of game he’s better away or when teams come out IMO, and then he’s in like Flynn. Now that the sieve has settled and we’ve millions of wingers again, and with Sevco out of money and converting shares by November, it really would be remiss of Celtic not to show financial might in AP’s window two.

Well done Celtic, winning ugly is important just now, keep the pressure on the bottlers.

On another subject, I hear that Scotland’s finest gave parking tickets to vans collecting for the food banks outside the ground. Deary me, this is a new low even for them.!!

  13. Another tough one out of the way. Well done Celtic and Captain Calmac getting the winner. Good to hear James McCarthy played well and on the negative ref Clancy had a stinker by all accounts.

  14. Liel abada is not a football player.an absolute empty jersey once again.get rid celtic.a waste.i wouldn’t play him in the reserve team.who scouted this guy ?????

  15. The Celtic Analysis

    @CynicAnalysis

Kyogo’s late shot from Johnston’s pass was his first after the international break.

Celtic need to involve him more: making the runs but not getting the delivery.

TET – But they are happy to sit back and watch the George Square riots (plural). 😡😡

    Abada Jota Kyogo

Three speedsters, hardly a ball over the top to maximize their speed.

    Why?

Fans have refused to leave Celtic Park in protest against the imminent appointment of Bernard Higgins

  19. SCEPTICAL CITIZEN on 28TH NOVEMBER 2021 6:09 PM

    Abada Jota Kyogo

Three speedsters, hardly a ball over the top to maximize their speed.

    Why?

I’ve offered a view above which is that, unless we win with a high press (and our 3 midfielders aren’t good enough at pressing – 2 immobile and 1 can’t tackle) we seem obsessed with getting it wide and cross into the box. Getting it wide consists of Jota on his own or Abada playing in Ralston.

I do recognise it’s hard when teams play a low block but we need to move the ball quicker than we do.

We also need athleticism and creativity in the middle of the park in January. Pleased to hear about Harate who looks the template for the former, we’ll get 2 on, 3 off with Tom. Oh for a Christie with a brain too.

  20. Late in the game Abada nearly scored from McCarthy through ball, and CalMac did seconds later, Jota almost scored, not sure if he hit the far post, and Kyogo nearly got a goal from a Mikey pass across the goal. All late in the game, and that is why I am disappointed we did not get the 3-1 I had predicted. Make no mistake we deserved to win this match.
