    Did you notice that today Ange played Iwata on the right and StarLord on the left? He was signed (I believe) as a left-sided centre back to replace Jenz, but he seemed very comfortable today (we know that StarLord is comfortable playing on the left beside big CCV) so maybe a wee tactical tweak by Ange that worked big style?

    BTW2, on the walk back from my mate’s house after watching the game I passed a few people. Nodded, smiled, hello, grand day etc. Saw a guy approaching and staring at my top. Hi, says I, Totally ignored me. Oh the simple joy such things bring you, knowing that they are really, really hurting. (VERY smiley face thing!!)

    AJ has played 20 games and has as many trophies as Tavernier who has played around 400. One more trophy next week to surpass him.

    I thought everyone played well at least in some stages of the game but, for me, Hatate and Calmac were chust sublime .

    Great day today. Thought much to admire in the team. Starfelt was a stand out and O’Riley played better today than he has for some time.Now for the Cup Final.

    EMERALDBEE – Yuki got a really tough intro which I hope hasn’t damaged his confidence too much. Not sure he or Iwata will get many games there, assuming CCV and Starman remain at CP.

     

    Iwata has to get a run of games at some point, either there or in midfield.

     

    He was named JLeague player of the year in 2022 as a CH so clearly has plenty of talent and experience playing there.
