  2. Empathy with all who are nursing a sore head this morning.

Not convinced whisky really is the water of life. Not today

Brilliant scenes yesterday. Well done to all Celts, whatever role they perform in the fabric of this wonderful Club

  3. Wonderful day yesterday. Great to see 60000 Celtic fans inside the stadium yesterday up for a party and the team played their part magnificently with 5 great goals. Loved the scenes at the end and Ange and Callum’s words to the crowd. Fabulous day which left me wanting more.

Also great to see the videos of our huge support enjoying themselves in town. On to the Cup Final on Saturday and hopefully we can put our ICT Cup hoodoo to bed and our players can create more history by securing an Eighth Treble. Hopefully!

Hail! Hail! and good luck to Celtic Ladies today. 🍀🍀🍀

  4. With all the worrying speculation re Ange and his future, I’d like him to say something along the lines of, I came here to do a job and it’s not finished yet. I intend to stay until it is

Still feel he’s off to Spurs though. There was no evidence yesterday of his heart punching as he used to do.

    Dreading this.

If he goes I fancy Klinsmann

  5. A marriage made in heaven

The dulcet tones of Karen Carpenter echoed around the Hydro in Glasgow this week as Celtic Manager, Ange Postecoglou took to the stage. The 13,000 Celtic fans present took up tune with gusto and belted out their own version of ‘Top of the world,’ with a slightly amended lyric… ‘We’re on the top of the league looking down on the Rangers and the only explanation I can find, is the form we have found since Ange has been around, Ange has put us on the top of the league.’ The big man smiled as they serenaded him and embraced him with their passion and affection. It was a moment few Celtic Managers have experienced and is testament to the job Ange has done at Celtic Park over the past two seasons.

  7. Superbru Week 39 brief update

With 3 matches to go this afternoon to finalise matches we have had a couple of shock developments.

Leggy has finally overtaken A thing of beauty in the race for the top.

    Current positions are:-

    1. Leggy- 223 pts

    2. A thing of beauty- 220.5 pts

    3. Celticrollercoaster- 204 pts

    4. Call me Gerry- 203.5 pts

    5. Bognorbhoy- 201.0

The current round leaders Leggy and roy crappie on 5.5. pts will have to go some to overtake James Cant’s best weekly total of 17.5 pts, which is looking safe.

In the race for the bottom- only Bada Bing has secure zero points on the first 3 ties yesterday but he is unlikely to trouble the non-scorers who remain:-

    McCaff- 133.5

    Park Road67 & TheLurkinTim- both on 141.5

    Belmont Brian 63- 143

There will be 2 bottom place prizes- a green hygiene implement for likely bottom place McCaff and a genuine wooden spoon for whichever of the intrepid 3 Amigos fares worst this afternoon.

Hoping for another exciting twist- Good luck to you all.

P.S. The also-ran race between the brothers lies at :-

    sammybhoy67- 181.5 pts

    Hutchbhoy- 181 pts

I can see a tie happening and a run off on the correct Cup Final score being needed

  8. PB and HS thanks my Grandson cheered me up this morning with a convincing win against his old team.

Still feeling a bit dogy but a couple of beers in the Garden later should cure that hopefuly. Those pills are getting handed back to Doc on Tuesday.

Hope you guys have a lovely Sunday.🥂

    Hi D

I see the breakfast went well. My Saturday mornings are now booked to take my grandson to his football. So breakfast not an option for now. Maybe Almore told you that yesterday.

I trust you are well and enjoyed the full day it’s just champion being a Celt. Watched the game alone in the house and celebrated with a hamburger supper and a glass of irn bru. ( CHANGED DAYS).

Almore was coming in by plane and so to was my mate Paddy so I knew it was Embra

Good man taking the grandson to football.its great the kid is active,as most I know in recent years think going up a level in a PlayStation game improves fitness, and who’s to say if he won’t be getting you a few comps in years to come. Ah don’t worry bout the changed days of hamburgerchips and irn bru, they all count towards our club stepping out. Mine was a Chinese meal and a glass of milk….we are living dangerously ah tell ye.

  13. Meanwhile BBC Scotland Hunland, the headline is:

Major clean-up after Celtic fans celebrate Premiership trophy day

for an ‘article which includes the line:

“Celtic had already sealed their fate as champions before the match with Aberdeen kicked off at 12:30.”

‘sealed their fate’ perhaps an unusual way to describe winning a Championship.

    Hurting huns.

    Good!

*it also included “Concerns were raised following Celtic’s win last year, when police described described the level of anti-social behaviour and littering as “unacceptable” aye they used described twice in their anxiousness to condemn us.

Also, in yesterday’s summary of the lie doon at the new love street bealzebub was quoted “”Our team were fantastic. Our control, in terms of possession, our mentality, to win 3-0 keeps our away form strong. It’s a good way for us to end the season, a word for John Souttar, who was outstanding yet again.”

*now I know that you are actually fae the Rock so I thought that I would share this with you, just heard this week that the NARSA are having their convention in Toronto the good and the guests of honour are the sons of the rock flute band, must come fae the bowling club newton part of the rebel town.

BTW nae flute bawns or lol out in the Vale, 3 trooser lifting ludges at one time, although 2 have since amalgamated, as I once heard as a boy, you can get a good kitchen sink basin but no a good tangerine man, as the latter are just full of hate.

It should be noted that allegedly 4 members of the Lions plus 2 on the bench that historic afternoon were members of the former

Anyway, hope you enjoyed yer day amongst the beautiful people yesterday

Yes, I noticed that ! The whole article was a reflection of the feelings of a hurting Hun. Truly dreadful `reporting`.

  17. Just read the article on the BBC web site. I wonder if there were anything as despicable written when the deid team’s follow followers destroyed George Square……..Somehow, I doubt it.

  18. Tom McLaughlin on

I grew up with 4 brothers. All 6 of us, including my dad, attended games over the decades, sometimes all together, and later with the addition of sons and daughters.

I am the only survivor and during yesterday’s post-match celebrations I shed a few tears as I remembered them and wished they could have been there to witness these moments. It was my only sad reflection of the day.

I and two Edinburgh pals enjoyed the celebrations in the city before jumping on a late bus back to Auld Reekie and a few more drinks before a taxi home.

Sitting in a beer garden beside George Square and ordering rounds on our phones and having them delivered to our table. Magic.

    We are Celtic.

    Hatate Confirmed.

Possibles Taylor, Johnston, Starfelt, CalMac, Jota, Kyogo & Oh not too far behind, thought Iwata had his best game for us as well. We had no passengers yesterday great display, great day, great team and last but by no means least what about The Tiffo, the backing in Celtic Park and the Party in the City just Champion, well done to everyone.

  20. God Bless your Family Tom, first name that came into my head was Delaney’s Donkey or Garry Postecoglou as he later changed his name to.

Garry was the first total Believer in Ange on here such a shame he is not here to say I told ye so.

Hampden looking pitch-perfect in the sunhine. Here’s hoping for a sunshine cup final next Saturday.

    BADA BING

Maxwell has already admitted on TV that the kick-off was moved to attract higher viewing figures, which translates to more money, ie peanuts.

The game will also be broadcast live on Viaplay. Who in England is going to pay a subscription to watch it, other than Celtic supporters and they would subscribe anyway regardless off the kick-off.

    An utter shambles.

If I may,no sadness at all.thats the spirit of those who gave us Celtic, they are as much a part of yesterday as all them smiles you seen as you slowly got home.

A great Celtic experience, rich, poor, class, creed, race or colour all adds another page since we left St.Marys.:-)
