  1. I don’t know whether it’s been mentioned or not.

Thank you to Aberdeen for having the grace to form a guard of honor and applaud us on to the field to begin a memorable day.

    I am a lucky man.

  3. In an effort to stem the controversy over the 5:30 PM Scottish Cup Final kick off time, the SFA has approached Celtic and Inverness Caley with an alternative solution.

The SFA committee have decided to abandon the game altogether.

This will minimize inconvenience to travelling fans, especially those from Inverness who are unable to get back home due to ScotRail’s timetable.

Viewers of Gardening Time in Scotland will be able to watch their program without having to travel to Dumfries or Berwick.

A spokesperson added that Rangers fans doing shopping in Glasgow would not be worried by the unfamiliar celebrations, and Glasgow Police could save on overtime payments.

Instead the presentation of the cup will be made to Ange Postecoglou in the Celtic boardroom immediately after the FA Cup Final and would be broadcast world wide on Azerbaijani TV.

  4. I bet there have been a few sore heads this weekend.

    HH, congratulations bhoys snd ghirls.

Hello again all you young rebels

    Morning GREENPINATA

Sore heids ? I’ll tell you about sore heids, 😡 lol.

What about the poor Huns, sore losers eh ?

Don’t think I’ve seen such an angry bitter lot in all

my 70 odd years following the bhoys.

And it’s permeated through to the poor girls sides.

I’ve watched Ragers players like Grieg, Harry Davis

Jimmy Miller et al, all hun diehards but at least there

was always a certain amount of respect given.

Nowadays they must be injected with some type of

venom as soon as they ascend the marble staircase.

Our ghirls were tremendous in winning their cup final

and what a weapon they have in young Jacynta’s

corner kicks, always remember her as a 13 year old

staying behind, after all our young loons had went

home after training, practising dead ball situations.

Certainly paying off for her and the team now.

Hope to meet up with her and big Starcelt 💚

if she comes home in the close season.

Good morning from a sunny East Village.

Delighted to see Ange inviting his agent onto the park on Saturday to join in the trophy day celebrations. It is a sure sign that talks are underway, or have taken place to extend the manager’s Celtic contract.

If he was there to negotiate a move to an EPL club for his client, as some journos have inferred, he would have been nowhere near the celebrations because the Ange we know would not be so duplicitous.

Let’s leave that sort of illogical speculation to the likes of Keith Jackson and his ilk.

    Hail Hail.

  11. Tom McLaughlin on

I strongly fancy Kyogo for a hat-trick on Saturday, assuming he plays of course.

I’ll stick a few quid on him for sure.

If we play like we did against Aberdeen we’ll score a barrow load of goals.

A big industrial barrow at that.

  12. Looking back over the on field celebrations on Saturday there was a lovely moment between Ange and his wife, the way he looked into her eyes, a very happy and much in love couple.

    Re Ange

I admire your confidence and positivity.

Sadly I don’t share your optimism.

Most informed (eg not KJ et al) insight I am picking up is not looking good.

I am certain nothing is done yet though.

For now best we focus on supporting our team in the attempt to win an incredible 7th treble.

In beating 3 of the other top 6 clubs to win the cup it will show it to be well deserved if we do.

    Re Ange

I admire your confidence and positivity.

Sadly I don’t share your optimism.

Most informed (eg not KJ et al) insight I am picking up is not looking good.

With all due respect, “most informed insight” = peope who know nothing but like to sound like they know it all.

Anything and everything is nothing but idle speculation.

  16. Bhoy From The Boyne on

Ange comes across as a genuine honest guy. I expect if Spurs made a formal or informal approach through his agent, then Ange will have informed them he is only willing to listen to any proposals or offers after the Scottish Cup final and once the season ends.

If all is quiet with Spurs on other candidate approaches and speculation leading up to the weekend final, then I will worry. But only because it might suggest they want to speak with Ange and naturally we would worry they may make him an offer.

But I trust Ange when he says his only focus is on the SC final.

We just have to wait and see what Spurs do and also hope that DD is doing everything they can to retain Ange.

    Good morning all.

Thank goodness for CQN plus a select few others.

    Busy yesterday.

Fabulous read back last night and this morning.

Individual posters’ insights miles ahead of the dross peddled by guys who do sports journalism for a living.

  18. Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on

PS – agree with Tom’s observation re the agent.

I know absolutely nothing about what is going on there.

If I was angling for an exit from a job?

I wouldn’t push my agent onto the pitch on trophy day.

    🤔

  19. Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on

    Spurs rumour might be true.

I don’t believe it but it might be true.

    Why don’t I believe it?

Pochettino was building what looked like something special … and walked.

Mourinho (winner in big leagues previously) couldn’t get it done.

Conte (winner in big leagues previously) couldn’t get it done.

    England’s best player possibly leaving

On the plus side, the latest accounts show the club’s net debt has reduced ….

    …. to £626 million

    🤔🤦
