  1. It’s only inconclusive because they don’t have , won’t show a conclusive camera angle , oh for sky tv cameras

were every angle is filmed and shown

just checked shoonsky – the video finishes at our goals

Thanks for that. Pity as it would have been of interest. Perhaps they plan to send it to the SFA?? Doubt it!

A pity the ballboy directly behind wasn’t the ref as he clearly indicates hand ball immediately.

  4. Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on

A celtic fan run website quoting McCann this morning.

Business must be desperate if clicks are to be found off the back of spouting by imbecilic talking heads.

Can someone teach their parrot to say ‘Celtic’, record it and put it up online?

Certainly more entertaining and just as informative.

  5. Bada’s clip from last night clearly shows a hand ball.

Oh and AJ never lifted his hands to push the keeper but I feel if it was against us we would be screaming for a foul on our keeper, whether we would have got that decision or not is another matter.

But Walsh is as big a cheat as Aitken and Dullas.

    D. :)

  6. I’m as angry as the rest about Walsh and his refereeing of Saturday’s game, 2 minutes in Shinnie stamps on Valle no action taken several other fouls no booking he let him do what he wanted, ditto Nillson who eventually was booked after about 6 or 7 fouls, then theyre all falling about with cramp, Mitov when he played for St. Johnstone got away with timewasting so much that every game at CP you could have added 5 minutes for his time wasting alone, Celtic need to be sharper in front of goal if we make 6 chances score 4 minimum, Kyogo Forrest in particular need to up their game.

I am seriously worried about our midfield it is one paced taken out by 1 ball down the middle and McCowan appart none can tackle, the pressure this puts on the 2 CH’s playing a high line is obvious, Atalanta have better forwards than Aberdeen Retegui in particular is a handful, can we go tighter in midfield, sit deeper, that will be the Manager’s call if we play as open as yesterday where 1 ball and 1 loose pass costs us 2 goals it will be a long night.

How come our Manager Coaches science guys did not see Maeda was knackered, he could hardly lift his legs yet he got an hour not good enough by all concerned and meant we had a one dimensional threat from wide instead of 2 that makes some difference to defending teams. It changed a bit when Forrest came on but his finishing was shockingly bad.

The footage may be “inconclusive”, but given it was Greig Aitken on VAR the benefit of doubt is in favour of Celtic and it was probably a penalty.

  8. It’s like playing 🎾 at Roland Garros and then Wimbledon is the latest bizarre comment from Voldemort pre match.

  9. Really enjoyed such a competitive Scottish game yesterday, we obviously thought we had done enough in the first half to win the match, Aberdeen did what they have done so often this season and came out determined to get a result,

Of course the Referee and officials seemed also very keen to ensure the Dons got a result.

Wonder what Brendan Rodgers said to Walsh at full-time, it clearly wasn’t “good game ref…”

Still Scales seemed to up his game another notch, we should never write that guy off.

Kyogo played his best game in a while, was at his dynamic best, we will need that on Wednesday.

Thought Valle gave a good account of himself, once again a youngster getting kicked to bits and no protection from the referee.

So winging it’s way to SENCELPOTY@GMAIL.COM

    1. Scales

A challenging time for this team, the next few months will show what they are made off.

Small points I know but here goes:

    1. Was there a VAR check on idah’s goal to se if there was a foul on the keeper?

    2. The referee didn’t blow for full time after the last minute incident but signalled for a corner. Presumably, at this point the game still had time to run.

There was then a VAR delay for a period of time, after which he immediately whistled for full time.

Should the game not have been restarted and the remaining time been allowed for Celtic to take the corner?

  11. Also note they are showing the disallowed Aberdeen goal on the hilights reel and discussing this morning but nor the disallowed Celtic goal see the clear narrative here putting the focus on poor angels of the Aberdeen players save.

  12. must be the end BD – he could have sent them out to beat Ross County last year and win the league – nope. He could have sent them out to win today and make a 3 horse race of it – nope.

He’s not a manager that can polish a turd (who can ) but he can wring the sevco for all the money their worth (nae much).

Overall our midfield was posted missing today. I’m getting concerned about Engels.

    ……………………..

It was Engels who played the beautiful long ball down our right wing for Kyogo to run onto and square for Hatate to bury in the net. He’s a young player and still settling in a new country. Give him some time and space. He’ll be a star for us.

    Top two clash.

No online post mortems necessary, onwards and upwards above 30,000 feet, Celtic should have won the game, but didn’t and we succumbed to a very physical new Aberdeen rebuild, we hope sticks around till at least Halloween. There has never been a Celtic centre back that didn’t get beaten on his heels in a counter attacking one on one, and the excellent Liam Scales is merely the latest. Celtic and star man Nicolas Kuhn tried to ‘gild the lily’ in a first half romp, where a third goal would have removed ‘the dangerous 2-0’ situation Brendan Rodgers referred to.

A bit of cautious pragmatism might have did that too, Aberdeen had to change at half time but we were caught out playing for a third unnecessary goal? instead of seeing what the visitors had done and how they were going to try and score. Consolidating a lead doesn’t always need another goal, and good job, if you meet a Celtic supporter confident about our first ever visit to Bergamo, you’re much more likely to have met a supporter that sees another sitting midfielder to partner the captain.

Celtic penalty claims are dismissed faster than Sevco managers, there was probably one in the final minutes, just no time for Greg Aitken analysis to reveal handball no search for the angles, to give us a much deserved winning goal that’s how the system works, move along Celtic. It was bad enough for a Rainjurz being second in the two horse race, but Sevco coming in third is the new show in town. The irony of Rainjurz and ‘completed liquidation’ on a weekend, with Celtic facing new challengers may have been patched by SMSM, but wasn’t entirely lost.
