Could’ve been 7-2 but credit to ABZ.

In seasons gone by, we would say, ‘aye but will they turn it on against Rangers?’….they will.
Miraculously lucky defending by Aberdeen. Frustrating for us. Could have been 8-3 on another day. Have to be more composed in the six yard box though.
Match of the season so far. Kudos to Aberdeen. Looked like a penalty there at last few seconds. Why no replays?

More worrying was our defence with Atalanta coming up
Very disappointing not to see out a 2-0 lead at home.
We struggled very badly with the two changes they made upfront, physically we were bossed a little and for a period, we lost our composure and looked very much like the side of last season.
We’ve been unlucky not to nick it at the end but that was poor today from our defence and it’s cost us.
We defend like that on Wednesday night and we can expect a big loss.
Amazed it wasn’t a pen. Can’t leave Scales 1v1 on half way line – defined the result.
We should have been 4 up five minutes into the second half. It’s a big worry that we need to score at least 3 goals to win a game. From 55 to 75 we were sloppy and wasteful. Maeda again had a nightmare after the international break and should not have started. Our two centre halves have no pace and Valle is too weak for this league. Engels average. We played a lot better when the subs came on but no luck in front of goal.
F..k aberdeen time wasting fakers, but we did that to ourselves shit finishing over passing in tight areas and all the help in the world from Walsh how shinnie wasnt even booked in that is beyond me.
Should have been checked for hand ball.The direction of shot,his body angle on the line,to me makes it impossible to clear.Had to be an arm.Had to be checked.Can’t just blow for full time.

Aberdeen defended for their life after getting back o terms, but they shouldn’t have.
Not to take anything away from Aberdeen , but 2-0 up at HT at home we shouldn’t be dropping points in any domestic game .

Personally, I don’t think CCV will play any part today or on Wednesday he has been out for a month he is able to do more training but BR says he still has pain so no for me, don’t want another Mark Reiper scenario.
*talkin of the Grim Reiper, I recall when we signed him and was really excited, so standing in a Celtic establishment when his name came up and one of the group beside me retorted that his London based brother had said the hammers were glad tae be shot of him as he was mince.
I suppose it takes all sorts or else his partnership with big Stubbsie suited him all the better as he improved big Alan as well.
Ah well there was only one team that wanted to win the game and maybe if Walsh had of booked a few dons for their 1st foul like Calmac, then who knows.
Also I am nearly sure that Duk handled on the line.

Aberdeen changed to [ play on the break ] in the 2nd half and scored 2 goals with 1 goal dubiously disallowed imho.
That’s the sign of a good manager – coaching his players to play a different way if plan ‘1’ isn’t working. The Dons took us to penalties in our last semi final, but with a less talented manager that time.
