Totally agree. The transport situation is utterly horrendous and the 20.00 hrs ko makes fans more eager to attempt to get home in a timely manner.
Just look at the empty seats with 15 minutes to go.

I think Celtic need to cut their losses with Trusty this summer,as for Scales he should move on as well ,another Centre Half and a left back are a priorities
If Matt O’R is surplus to requirements down south, I would be more than happy to see him in a Celtic jersey next season.

Good Morning Fholks…
This is a quote from our prescient lead writer…
“This is not to say we are going to win at Easter Road on Saturday, a reversal would not be a surprise, but on-form Hibernian are never going to prepare us for challenges in Europe. There is some value in games against Newco, who remain in the Europa League. They could have helped the cause more by remaining in the Scottish Cup long enough to face a proper challenge. As it is, we only have two games against them before September.
The demands which Brendan Rodgers recently referred to Arne Engels facing will drop. The need to rotate the squad diminishes, which results in fewer opportunities for fringe players to develop.” P67, 20/02/’25
It seems obvious now our best starting eleven are most definitely our best team.
We will need those ghuys playing until the league is won, Jamsie and Paulo coming back will give us more options going forward, but until we strengthen in the summer, we are, where we are…
BR&CO again criticised for possession football, playing out the back and ♻️ the ball.
Yet we must play the same way, home to Aberdeen with 70% possession means we can go to Munich and get 33% possession and more importantly a result.
We need to be MORE consistent, we need MORE player development.
How often have we went away from home in Europe, played well but we’re trounced by a ruthless team!?
Well Aberdeen knows what that is like when they come to Celtic Park – they face a UCL side and even out when out of form will punish you.
A good performance by them and a 90′ minute consolation gives them something to cheer about.
It has to be this way.
Great to see the subs get a run out, lots of development needed in the squad, especially young Jude Bonnar getting making his debut, like P67 indicates, we must take every opportunity to develop players.
So, who contributed the most, lots of great performances, yet winging it’s way to SENCELPOTY@GMAIL.COM
Wee BAZZA’s pep talk to the Hun players tonight before facing Kilmarnock…..
” Right Staunch men of Ibrox…get oot there and Hammer those Fenian Ayrshire Bassa’s !

AN DÚN @ 10:47 PM,
“ITV news had a piece there on Americans buying an English non league side. They said in the report that 33% of all English football league clubs are now American owned. That’s staggering.
Yes, an amazing statistic.
Wycombe Wanderers are a third tier team (until the end of the season;) they were owned by Americans until last year – after four years they sold it to a Kazakhstan billionaire.
Strange game last night characterised by careless passing from both teams and long spells of both teams giving away possession cheaply. There were passages of great play which led to our goals but we could have lost three due to poor defending. However, brilliant result for The Bhoys which takes us another step towards the League title.

Agree it is well and good playing out from the back but there is a need for the players involved to be capable of doing so , currently we don’t and nearly all opposition attacks are caused by our shortfalls in carrying out the basics
Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on
The above is tongue in cheek of course.
Good reddit video posted earlier by Majestic Hartson this morning.
Staggering, but unsurprising, debt management costs.
Glazers justifiably getting it in the neck online.
But, for me, there is another constituency who routinely get off largely scot free in these disgraceful situations.
Greedy b*****d existing large shareholders who sell out in the first place.
I think Celtic need to cut their losses with Trusty this summer,as for Scales he should move on as well ,another Centre Half and a left back are a priorities.
……………………
I agree regarding Trusty but I would hesitate to let Liam Scales leave. If you remember Liam was playing very well in the team until he was, somewhat unjustly, dropped to accommodate a player we had paid £6m for. Since then Liam has mainly been a bit part player and won’t find the consistent good form he had found prior to being dropped, until he is given his regular place back in the team. I fear that Auston has the same difficulty against strong bustling strikers that Christopher Jullien had and he can’t cope with them as we saw last night.

Agree recAustin Trusty.
Also get knocked about at Dundee by the guy Murray and three have been other examples.
Having said that, he has played well in European ties against teams with a less physical approach.
Might be worth getting him to play against Adam Idah (or someone in the Chris Sutton mould to knock him about) at training to see if we can toughen him up.for SPL games.

AT. Yes thank you very much for getting back to me my nephew is a die hard Celtic fan , he was pretty worried he wouldn’t see it . His company are erecting those wind turbines . Many thanks again for taking the trouble pal .
Against Atalanta Trusty was great . But recently he has become a bit of a bomb scare
. He is reported to being 6ft 4inch he shouldn’t be getting pushed around so easily . His distribution also leaves a lot to be desired , A big no nonsense centre half is a must at the summer , left back should be covered if KT can keep fit . We don’t half moan when we don’t spend cash , but it worse to spend it on players who have you looking for there replacements a season later .

Kit man has extra work tonight.
The jerseys of every outfield player were two sizes larger at full time than kick off due to being tugged constantly.
Boil wash needed to shrink them back down to size.
======
Oor jerseys don’t shrink …😉😜😂
OOPS….DAIZEN to score at least TWO GOALS last night was 15/2 with the Bookies….NOT 13/2 as I stated earlier.
Even better.

Fingers crossed IF the Huns are taken over.
What a shambles at Man Utd….its mind boggling.

Engels is now beginning to show his true worth to the team, more involved……taking up better positions and looks like becoming a leader on the pitch.
Like most, initially you say what you see and could tell there was a player in there but had to be really
convinced….I am.
Killie should be interesting tonight……..yellow cards aplenty, but for who?………answers, not on a postcard.
Big Jimmy,
I don’t know much about these things but is imaging making a profit is at the forefront of these businesses buying another company.
Thebhoyfrom…
I was amazed at some people going from Engels will be better than O’Riley after a couple of games, to he isn’t worth the money we paid.
I think he’s a class act and there was a settling in period – in fact he is probably still settling in, so might get even better.
