Us beating them isn’t the only reason these teams are so low in the league.
It’s my natural stance not to get carried away with things. We’ve played 3 home games and only one away.
Performances like tonight, especially the first half, are to be enjoyed.
However, I won’t accept that everything is rosy.
My point was that I’d rather wait till we’ve played some of the other teams, starting with St. Mirren away, before I judge if we really are making better progress.

What is wrong with a loan if it meets current football needs?
When Celtic play every game is current. That is how I see it.
I save my FFS for Trusty when he gets rag dolled.

Aiuldheid ,I get a couple of loans,but if your manager is 74,then I think a few won’t sign for 3 or 4 years,the short termism we have,and no information of any plans is self harming
Yang will improve even more, hopefully Tounekti as well, when they are training every day with a player of the quality of Hassan.
Look at the brilliant player that Allan Sneddon became playing and training with Danny McGrain every day.
The entire team felt better about themselves with such a World Class player, as Danny McGrain working with them every day.
Look at Wim Jansen and MON’s teams training with Henrik Larsson every day.
The club has shrunk in stature since the days of MON and Henrik in their prime driving Celtic on.

Celtic remain top of the league with an easy win, a very comfortable 3-0 scoreline, not much to learn im afraid, much more serious competition awaits, another tremendous strike from Duran whom from what I have observed is our No1 striker, Yang and Scales had a very good night on the left flank plus some early opportunities for new signings to get some minutes, no injuries Celtic can only play what’s in front of them
Far too early to announce a successful window, I will wait till Christmas to see who has claimed regular 1st team positions and are making a valuable contribution to our E/L campaign and towards retaining the SPFL title a very long way to go
Aberdeen were atrocious, 4 H/T second half substitutions that must have been some dressing room at H/T, what a shambles, to think we lost a L/C final to this Manager last season, a tale in itself
Hard work now will be done behind the scenes getting the new players settled in, make them feel welcome, get housing sorted, i’m sure MO’N and Shaun and the rest of the staff know what’s needed to bed the new players in at Lennoxtown where the first assessments will be made
Hopefully from my perspective we can find another tactical formation that deals with the away defeat at Lask, Shaun mentioned it in his Presser. “It was a really difficult night (in Austria), so to get that reception of the fans from the bus and within the stadium was really positive.
“What we now have to do is give them the performances with and without the ball. We need the same level without the ball and if we do, we’ve got a decent team.”

3-0 could have been more but what’s the point in bursting a gut. Aberdeen we called them, until our seats were too close to their gaff at Hampden, in a certain Cup Final, so with their songs Sheep they became.

The Columbian’s left foot strike was outrageous, in a first half demolition job. Nygren, thankfully retained scores for fun and Yang continues to improve under Daizen Maeda’s hair transplant
Front loaded Celtic don’t need a midfield ( unless it’s against LASK ) but the sheep were merely “swept away” ©️ Archie McPherson. Wing back, full back whatever, Colby Donovan was again outstanding, a prodigious talent with Rolls Royce no Honda engine. Fine tuning from a brilliant motivator in MON, will stand Celtic in good stead in the coming months.

Will be interesting to see which of the new players make the EL squad and who drops out. Decisions, decisions, decisions . . . .
My head knows that you always try to play your best players but fitting Hogh, Duran and Hassan into the same lineup will be a challenge. On evidence so far Duran should be played through the middle not pushed right. If pushed right to accomodate Hogh, Hassan has to drop out. Duran is on fire at the moment and should not be left hugging the touchline.
Lovely problems for the manager to have. Throw Jota back into the mix and an in-form Yang and it gets more difficult still. Jamesie at least doesn’t expect to start often and Tounekti probably should be loaned out or sold.

MON expecting more is unlikely IMO to include a mad end spend, but we live in hope that the budget will get used up never mind, yet more profit for the pile that the ordinary supporter or even corporate guru can justify,

Having failed to qualify for the CL, we went on to taken another ten million in the sales of Kenny and Hatate and spent £3.5 million on the PSV lad – 5 senior appearances?
With the Europa deadline now gone, it’s very clear to me that Europe isn’t a priority and probably never will be under this board.
We have done some very good business earlier in the window and we do look much more creative and dangerous going forward than we did this time last year.
Domestically at least we’re looking like ourselves again, although, it’s early days and injuries will accumulate – our left back cover is extremely inexperienced, zero senior appearances so it’s likely, imo as things stand, that Scales will play out there a lot this season which will compromise our defence – see Falkirk’s goal after Scales was moved out to LB and Trusty brought on during the second half.
P67. Please don’t mention the word “newco” (sic) in new article posted and switch to saying “Sevco” henceforth. There is only one of the latter (Sevco) , but there are thousands of the former (Newco), every single year in the UK.
By the way delighted to see, that after all these months, you’re finally updated the CQN league table to show Celtic at the top. Hopefully they will remain there until the end of the season (in the CQN table, that is). #weedigCSC

It’s not easy bringing players in during the summer window…
Selling HVPs at the most inconvenient time…
Yet…
Good players in the door, some great players in a timely manner…
Good mix of experience, prospects and quality a priority
Loan to buys, loan to byes…
The players picked to enhance the gaps in the squad… top profiler Shauny on the job…
And a trading profit, don’t forget that all important trading profit…
So, all in all, lessons were learned, and lack of prep for LASK will be offset by the latest scurry putting us in a good place for domestic bliss and the next European qualifiers…

Who is the Feynoord loan,
I know one thing for sure Trusty needs to be replaced,
I’m not a fan of Trusty but, he does win headers.
The ragdolling also infuriates me, especially for a guy his size.
IMHO, Murray would be MON’s preferred choice but he is still too raw. Don’t think we can play both Donovan and Murray. Too inexperienced (I know, how do they get experience?) at the moment.
I hope we bring in a defensive midfielder (loan or buy) even if it’s just for domestic games.
