Your girlfriends ‘friends’ list on FB must be pretty suspect? I have regularly posted pics from the game at CP ( including yesterdays flag day ) on my FB and not had any such problem.

Well, that was a great day of sport yesterday. Football is back and the olympics are in full swing with some great, dramatic action last night. The Phillies even managed a shut out, which MLB fans will know is pretty rare this season.

Could be mate. I always suspected rowing was an elitist sport. Cycling though I suspect is for anyone? Or, perhaps the racing bikes are so expensive that it prohibits a lot of kids as well?

Thanks. Ripon? Beautiful racecourse. My favourite. Small, lovely gardens, very welcoming, and the last time I was there I had the added bonus of winning a right few bob!
Very dissapointd by the crowd yesterday, 48,251 for a championship flag unfurling and league opener.
Noticable from my Main Stand seat that the corporate seats in North Stand and Jock Stein Stand had large empty sections, as they did on Wednesday.
If anyone knows the quickest way to become hangover free could they please advise?

The seats in the Corporate section in the North Stand are hugely overpriced in my opinion. I used to have many seats there but simply cannot justify such a cost in this climate. Even in a healthy financial climate those seats are just too expensive for what they are.. and I know others who feel the same way.
twist n turns na wouldn’t say it was elitists nz isn’t really big enough to have that anywhere just expensive if your kids want it but well supported and coached and it has a good profile here in nz turned into gold. My point is that excellence is deliberate and targeted, not an accident. Equates back to having a good youth set up at Celtic park and makinh them work hard to succeed.Always happy when any lad comes through the systeminto the first team squad. hail Hail

We had key players out,the ref was woeful,and the sheep worriers came to park and hack.

First home game of the season is never a marker to judge attendances as there are thousands of fans still on holiday etc.
Celtic’s average home attendance for 2012 was third in Britain behind only Man U and Arsenal, – not too bad considering we play in limited league.
If the season ticket estimates are accurate, for this season we’re still the best of British, and Celtic should be scheming how to fill or change corporate rates.

My experience is that most sports in Britain apart from football are solidly middle class.
Even athletics – where all you need is a pair of shoes.

‘I was really disappointed in Aberdeen. We were poor but they were sent out to get a draw. Brown and his ilk have to learn that this is a BIG, BIG season for Scottish football. The only way we are going to attract and keep big crowds is if people know they will be entertained. Aberdeen contributed nothing today. Sad’
Reading through the comments from yesterday after the game and your post above hits the nail on the head. Speaking to an Aberdeen fan after the game and its fair to say they don’t like Brown/Knox. They could be a far more attractive outfit without such a negative influence in charge
Brown is a dinosaur and has nothing to offer modern day Scottish football
I think the seats which were empty at the jock stein stand are normally taken up by the irish fans…guess they are still on hols….good turn out by aberdeen fans yesterday….always bring the biggest support outwith the huns……and queit a few applauded the ex players and bjh as they went past…nice gesture from true fans
