Once we lose the ball they are under pressure then to get into position.
Couple times Rooney nearly punished us.

Good game. Decent opposition and a cracking goal from the Griff
Commons and Forrest need to be more involved.
Johansen and Bitton not had much to do as Dons bypassing midfield with quick counters.

He has guts but he has more than that- he has the skill to go with it.
Excellent game. Celtic started well with the sheep sitting deep and hitting on the break which resulted in them creating 3 decent chances that, thankfully, Rooney failed to convert. Aberdeen seemed to change tact and started to play a more adventurous game. Since then it was been a keenly contest game with Celtic just edging it, IMO. LG from villain to hero in a matter of seconds, misses a very good opportunity by ballooning a shot way over the bar only to redeem himself with a fantastic Larsonesque header from an equally Luboesque cross from young Tierney. Great game and a good advert for the Scottish game.
The CQN server was struggling for a wee while but response has improved marginally
Shinny is only the latest in a long line of players, who, when playing against Celtic, take part in a quasi medical experiment. The concept is that getting Yellow card makes you immune to getting a Red card for any subsequent foul play.
Very enjoyable first half. Griff missed 2 sitters but then scores a peach. That is what a striker is about, getting into positions to score stay confident and the goals will come. he is our most valuable player by a mile.
I can’t believe young Tierney, this guy is a legend in the making. Beaten for pace once but apart from that flawless and what a cross. Aberdeen playing well too, came close a couple of times but we deserve our lead.
Only lad below par imo is Kris, apart from taking corners has had little impact, cue a Kris cracker 5 minutes into second half.
Good entertainment in the first half. Shinnie looks like he could have given straight red then a second yellow. Who’s the ref?

He’s kept the game flowing but his reluctance to find his back pocket has allowed a couple of Aberdeen players to remain on park

Good open game. Both sides have had multiple chances to score. Leigh Griffiths had 3 great chances and managed to covert the most difficult of the 3 with a classic centre forward header. What a delivery from young Tierney to set up the opportunity.
Weve looked solid in midfield. Rogic again playing well. James has shown at times but would like to see him more in the game. Nir sitting very deep to shore things up in front of the defense.
Defensively we have not looked great, particularly through the middle. Simo is playing wider on the left and we have looked open at times in the centre. Don’t like the fact that we are not winning headers in our own box. Having said that, Craigy has not really had a save to make.
Looking forward to getting this wrapped up early in second half.
Watching the LG goal is so reminiscent of Henke, just floating before powering in the header, what a goal.

Celtic sparkling in the biggest league game in the SPL.
The Ned Kelly Pele is again a stand out, and Kieran Tierney floated a perfect hanger for The Griff to wait, and pick his spot, with his weave.
Aberdeen have to come out, and Ronny’s bhoys to pick them off with two more into the Jock Stein end.
Sounds like great atmosphere at paradise along with probably one of the biggest crowds of the weekend

Agree Aberdeen should have been down to 10 men. Awful tackle should have been a straight red. Only in Scotland is such an ‘ankle breaker’ challenge deemed a yellow.

No comparison with ours.
We have a flowing game with chances at both ends.
We just need a goal from the multiple corner kicks we have won.
I expect we will get more space in front of goal as Aberdeen try to get back into the game.
That should help KC and LG get more chances
Remember all the noise about the “scandalous” tackle by the Livingston player on the young Ibrox starlet?
That Shinnie tackle on Bitton was every bit as bad if not worse but as ever, will be swept under the carpet by the media.
Btw just that heard Dalziel on Clyde has said it was a definite red
